I purchased my Cricut Expression about 2 years ago and at first was very frustrated with it. It was ripping paper and I could not figure out the right size for things, the mats were not sticky and my paper was always moving. I then went to you tube and found hundreds of videos for how-to do things. They have videos on how to make your mats sticky. You need to just play with your machine settings and you will see it gets better and then you won't want to stop playing with it. It is great for school projects for my kids. I've made baby shower invites, cards, scrapbook pages, and home decor. I can't recommend this machine enough. You should also get the Cuttlebug. These two machines together make the most beautiful cards or whatever. LOVE LOVE LOVE it.

I have had my Cricut now for two years and could not be more pleased it is very easy to use and is endless with its possibilities. Anyone having issues should go to youtube for tutorials. You will eventually fall in love.

I purchased my Cricut Expression machine 3 years ago. I was new to scrapbooking. I hardly used it. Then I started using it a few months ago then stopped. I turned it on yesterday and it wouldn't work. So disappointed. Spent all that money and it didn't last.

I purchase my Cricut Expression two years ago and almost from the start I've had problems. When I try cutting small details, my paper keeps ripping. I replaced the cutting knife, but it did not resolve the problem. I am very disappointed with my purchase.

I have had my Cricut Expression ever since it first came out and I have not had any issues. As a matter of fact I have 2 machines and cut everything from paper,card stock, vinyl and fabric. Once you learn the tricks on how to adjust your settings it's a breeze.

I started out with the Cricut create and 5 years ago upgraded to my Expression. I LOVE it! I have had no problems with my machine and own 85 plus cartridges. Just like all purchases.... practice makes perfect. If your paper is tearing, or not cutting through the paper ... adjust the settings. I have both mine on max and have no problems. I am actually looking at buying another machine to double up my cutting. I cut lots... when I get going. I have never paid full price for a cartridge and rarely pay over $30 ... so many great stores offer sales all the time! Look on-line and at your local shops. I did find that I don't like the new 12x12 cutting pads. I hope they get stickier... right now they don't hold paper at all. :( This machine is super easy to use and a great place to start if your looking at buying a Cricut machine. LOVE MINE!!!

My boyfriend got me this for my birthday/Christmas this last year and it is AMAZING! I made Christmas cards, I cut out pieces for blankets to stitch on, and I use it for my scrapbooking attempts. :) I love this thing. It has made a lot of things easier on me.

I've only used my Cricut a few times and each time I had trouble. Once the paper got stuck to the mat and tore. Another few times the needle "ripped" the paper instead of cut it.

I received my machine two Christmases ago and really enjoy making things with it (when I actually have time). The only real problem I've had is trying to figure the pressure settings! I either don't cut all the way through or dig into the mat. Wish the sticky on the mats would last longer. I don't really scrapbook but do lots of other crafts. My only other complaint is I wish I could afford the Cricut Expression 2 because the LED screen is bigger and would be much easier for me to see what I'm doing with my vision problem. For the rest of you out there, yes the cartridges and other items are a little pricy, you just have to shop around. Places like JoAnn Fabrics have them on sale quite often and Walmart is pretty reasonable!!! GOOD LUCK ON ALL YOUR FUTURE CRAFTS!!!

I received this cricut expressions last year from my husband.And I HATE IT. It said it will cut paper and fabric and make all kinds of cards and all that stuff but DO NOTHING. Just make HOLE and wast your TIME and MONEY and PATIENTS . I called customer service but they cannot do anything, now i have this big heavy useless machine collecting dust . . Don't buy this stuff. IN TV THEY MAKE ALL KINDS OF STUFFS DON'T GO FOR IT .
