Bad Experience, 4/19/2012
By Pei Shuen KOK, Singapore, Singapore
I bought a Cricut Expression 2 and never been using it to make a single craft because it is not able to cut. It doesn't cut and no support was provided. I was given a toll free number to call but that number is not active. Due to this, gypsy that i bought along with the cricut machine is still in its original package, I don't recommend anyone outside USA to buy this, it is a waste of money.

Doesn't work, 1/1/2012
By PamO, Akron, Ohio
I purchased this Expression 2 from HSN. I already have the Expression and have never had a problem with it. But the Expression 2 didn't work from the moment I took it out of the box. It turns on, lights up, then turns off. Can't do anything on it.. and of course it's too late to send it back to HSN. We'll see what Cricit Customer Service will do to fix this problem.

I LOVE it!, 12/4/2011
By Cindy G., Miami, FL
I have the Expression, Gypsy, & Imagine. Love them ALL. You can't really compare it to the Imagine, since this doesn't print, but comparing it to the Expression....WOW!!! Sooo much easier to cut!!!! Very smooth. Combines gypsy/imagine like touch screen giving you a better idea for layout. Only problem was a non-sticky mat, but I called PC & they will be replacing it. EXCELLENT customer support. For those that have problems, I suggest go to YouTube. There are a lot do tutorials. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it! Was hesitant to order since I have the other machines, but soooo glad I did!!!! It is easier than the Expression. Got a great Black Friday deal! Thanks!!!!

Leads in comsumer disappointment., 11/5/2011
By Jean Hall, Crescent City, IL
After re-reading Cricut Expression 2 machine reviews and having done much research, I have found that loyal consumers of Cricut cutting machines are treated like children awaiting that beautiful red bike for Christmas. We are promised the ultimate accessory or cutting machine, better than the last, only to find that we have been duped. The Design Studio was upped to the Gypsy which were both set aside by Cricut designers in favor of the new online design center. How do I know this? I called and asked about duplications, and I somehow got an honest consumer service person. Then, I found out that I could buy a machine that uses ink, at a price, of course (a Cricut with an expensive printer added, to be sure). Well, we can buy an Expression 2 and use origional cartridges and newer Impression cardridges, but have no inking opportunities. But wait, I am told today on an Expression 2 video that, even tho the 2 is on the market and is more advanced in ease of use than the origional Expression which I have, I do not want to forget that when I receive the machine into my home, I must DOWNLOAD updates like "welding"; if I'd known I must personally apply what the company forgot (which is, of course, NOT in the product description) to yet receive the total product I want, I would not have used the time on the research and reviews. I, plus many others, I am sure, have been the Christmas child clammering for the red bike, clammering to get our upgraded Cricut machine -- well, not now. I function with what I have; I don't need to be taken advantage of by the creative minds at Cricut. Please DO NOT take advantage of your followers -- especially in this economy! You might want to let the truth as to when the Expression 2 becomes complete/the REAL THING if we haven't chosen something else.

Enjoying My E2, 11/2/2011
By StephanieK, Greenville, SC
I own a Cricut Create also and use it very little. I really enjoy this machine, so much easier to tell what you are cutting (no more keyboard mats!) and where it is placed on the cutting mat. That is worth a lot to me. The one thing I wish it had is "arrows" to move images about like the Gypsy has. I called Provo Craft on several occasions...the one time that was directly about this machine, we determined that my machine had a defective blade and PC sent me a new pack. That was indeed the issue (having some bad cuts, etc.)PC has very nice customer service reps I found. I more recently bought a Gypsy which was a pill to update online and I probably would have never made it without all their help.

This is my third cricut. I like it and the fact that you can update the features. However, I feel that your presentation on hsn if misleading. Like others, I bought the anniversary edition on its launch thinking it was the only time it would be available and also be the best package for the money, only to find out if I had waited I could have gotten it cheaper and with the wifi connect. So disappointed with pc and hsn for not being truthful on the presentations. I definately will not purchase anything at first airing in the future and will not trust what is being said.

Not quite what I expected, 10/23/2011
By Karen H, Schnecksville, PA
I am new to Cricut, but I am a little disappointed because you can't weld the letters. That would justify the cost of this machine if I could do that. I also don't like the icons on the buttons. Why can't you just use words? I'm always forgetting what the icons mean and then I must look them up in the instruction book. I also wish the handle was on top instead of at the ends. Then it could be picked up with one hand instead of two. Otherwise, I like it a lot. It cuts really nice...once I figure out the icons.

Duped, is right., 10/15/2011
By Darrelyn B, Noneya, TN
I've bought both the original Expressions, and this latest one. I find them difficult and inaccurate. Bought the software a while back, and it's so lame, it's like my first embroidery machine software -just so limited and beginner-ish. I would love to be able to create, like others, or buy individual files online, as in my sewing. My 'cut' light will not come on, when using 3 of my 10 cart's --anyone else have this trouble? Also, the screen will not show the image on the grid, and sizing is a pain in the tush. Just too many back & forths, to get to the main event: finished, cut design. Very disappointing. Booklet should be more detailed, and have more answers for trouble shooting. It's like they never expect you to need help. I suggest they get some REAL engineers in on this, and make the software/machine a little more sophisticated, and allow for individuals who can create, to do so. They might just find the next generation in designers. Lastly, that big screen? All icons and buttons are so small, I had to attach a magnifying screen to it, so I wouldn't keep getting nose prints on the face of it. Purchased from HSN. Will likely send it back.
