This cartridge has always held a spot in my top faves. My top 5 change, but this one always remains. I love the elegance of the images. They are perfect for layouts, cards, silhouettes, anything. There is a font as well as a gorgeous card feature on this cartridge. It is a go-to for me very often and I never tire of it. And, you don't need to have kids to use it. It really has fantastic images. The little witch with the broom is darling on Halloween cards! A good trick is to run the image through your cuttlebug. They look gorgeous when they are embossed.

Of all the 140 cartridges that I have so far "A Child's Year" is my favorite and the one I go back to over and over again. When I first purchased it I was worried that I wouldn't have much use for this cartridge because I don't have any children but the images are timeless and work for a multitude of projects. If a person can only afford to buy one cartridge than this is the one for them. It covers every occasion, every season, every holiday. It's perfect.

I own many Cricut cartridges...A Child's Year is my absolute favorite! I have used it to make mini albums for new moms, birthday cards for children, my own child's lifetime scrapbook (he is now 32 years old), calendars for teachers, bulletin boards for my church, and decorations for a baby shower! As you can see, I find it a very versatile cartridge. I especially like it because there are images for both boys and girls...some can even be used for either...just change out the paper! And the details are amazing! Now all I need are grandchildren so I can use it even more!
