CRICUT ®: WHAT WAS USED

OTHER MATERIALS NEEDED

  • Shiny Silver Card Stock
  • Turquoise and Black Card Stock
  • Black Hemp Beading Cord
  • Small Eyelet
  • Adhesive
  • 2" Circle Punch
  • Pinking Stitches Border Embossing Folder

STEP-BY-STEP How-TO INSTRUCTIONS

I used a 4" x 5.5" white card for the base. I cut the black mat at 5.25" x 3.75" and the turquoise mat at 5" x 3.5" and I embossed the right edge of the turquoise mat with Cuttlebug Border Embossing Folder called, "Pinking Stitches"
I cut the Dream Catcher image from the Southwest Cartridge at 5" in shiny silver card stock and the shadow in black card stock. I punched a 2" turquoise circle with a punch and applied to the back of the silver dream catcher. I also added a silver eyelet to the top of the dream catcher. I punched a hole in the top of the shadow layer and adhered the layers together. I ran the hemp beading cord threw the eyelet and anchored it to the back of the turquoise mat with tape, then using an ATG gun, I adhered this mat to the black mat.
Using the font on the Southwest Cartridge, I cut the word "DREAM" in black card stock and the shadow font in the shiny silver card stock and adhered the word down the side of the card horizontally next to the embossed edge.

Love this card. The dream catcher does look like it is cut out of silver, but there seems to be brown and copper colors too. Did you ink this?
