A beautiful card I made for the birth of my best friend's second little girl. Both of her girls have names beginning with 'A', so I decided to feature that on the front as part of the sentiment. **Could NOT for the life of me figure out how to get it to fit the image upload constraints while right side up. :/ http://www.cmongetcrafty.com/2012/09/get-crafty-with-cards-new-baby-for-my.html

CRICUT ®: WHAT WAS USED

OTHER MATERIALS NEEDED

  • Punches
  • Cardstock
  • Embellishments
  • Clear stamps

STEP-BY-STEP How-TO INSTRUCTIONS

For this card I relied heavily on Fontopia Crests and Cards. The card itself is Crst-24 card, about 5 1/2 x 7. I cut the card out in white cardstock, and again in a patterned scrapbook paper, which I then cut in half to apply to the cover of the card.
I have two layers for the scrolling, in pink and blue scrapbook paper. The pink is Layer 1 for Crst-24s, the blue is layer 2.
The oval is from Plantin Schoolbook, the sentiment strip is Crest11 from Fontopia, Layer 2. The A is Fontopia - A. All were cut onto scrapbook paper.
The interior of the card is the blue negative space from my scroll on the cover. The sentiments outside and inside were stamped and the interior was embossed. Embellish as desired.
