CRICUT ®: WHAT WAS USED

OTHER MATERIALS NEEDED

  • Tim Holtz Wood Embossing Folder
  • Tim Holtz Black Soot Distress Ink
  • Coredinations Core Color Cardstock
  • EK Succes Label Punch
  • Stampin
  • Black and White Gel Pens
  • White Ink
  • Cuttlebug

STEP-BY-STEP How-TO INSTRUCTIONS

First using the Happy Hauntings cartridge: Cut the Top and the Bottom of the coffin @ 8 inches. Then use a scoring tool to create the folds in each one.
Then fold each part of the coffin up as flat as you can and run it through the cuttlebug using the Tim Holtz Wood Embossing folder.
Then glue the folds together to create the base and top.
Using the EK Success Punch: Punch out the label. Then ink the edges with Tim Holtz Black Soot Distress Ink.
I printed on my computer the sentiment: Open If you Dare on white cardstock. Then punched out the sentiment with the Stampin' Up Modern Label Punch. Then inked around the edges with the black soot ink again.
I cut out the hinges from the Fabulous Finds cartridge at 2 inches. Then used white ink on them lightly and distressed them a bit. I then cut them in half and glued them on each piece.
I cut the ghost/shadow from the Create a Critter 2 sneak peak @ 3 inches. I then used black gel pen to outline the ghost and white gel pen on the hat.
The boo was cut out at 1 1/4 inches. The bubble was cut out at 1 1/3 inches. Next I cut out the skull at 10 inches. I then embossed the bubble with the same Tim Holtz Embossing folder. Then I punched out the printed sentiment and inked it with black soot ink. Cut the spider out using Paper Dolls Dress up at 2 3/4 inches. Then used part of the punch to create the web coming down from the bubble.
