I seen so many upset customer's message regarding Cricut Explore.  I have to say Cricut is all right with me.  Silhouette is or has done the same thing only Cricut seems to have "an up" on Silhouette because of:  (1) its beautiful features - sleek design; (2) you can use your cartridges; and (3) the writing/drawing design pens.  I am saving my money to purchase the Cricut Explore.  I only have Expression and the first Personal Cutter machine (Baby Cricut) and have been waiting on something so worth the purchase as the Cricut Explore.  I am also very pleased with the update of the Cricut Craft Room.  Cricut has always updated its machines/software for loyal users as myself.  I have been pleasantly pleased with Cricut.  Kudos!

I assume each card is free to cut for only one day.
luckyducky604 -- You will be able to save the pattern but will not be able to cut it unless the cartridge (or card cut) is linked to your account either because it is currently free or because you have purchased that cartridge or cut.
Terry -- You can complete the project either by:
    A) downloading the card file from the Project Center and importing it into CCR
    B) starting a new project on your own -- When you open Craft Room you should see a blank mat on the screen (to create a new project).  To place cuts on your virtual mat you would first select the card name from the list under "Images/Cartridges".  The free cut of the day (or week) will be in bold letters (as will any titles you have purchased).
More information is available in the Help section of Craft Room.
    Hope this helps :-)

Are the cards only free to cut for one day, or can you save the pattern and use it later?
