I found some wonderful cover stock to use for our daughter's wedding invitations. It is coated with a shimmery finish, both sides, that makes it impossible for it to stick to the cutting mat for my Expression machine. I've tried using masking tape around the edges, which holds the paper in place. However, the center of the paper still doesn't stick to the mat so the cut pieces raise off the mat and cause the machine to jam. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Smile Most of us use blue painter's tape put it anywhere on the mat, except for the imagine mat. With the imagine mat you can't cover the black lines. The imagine uses these lines to "register" where to cut and print. HTH

Test on scraps so you won't waste any of that pretty paper.

I wonder if you use repositionable spray on the back of your paper if that would work?

The idea of blue painter's tape is a good one, especially for small pieces. I will also be trying the repositionable spray adhesive to secure an entire 12x12 piece. That should ensure that the paper sticks in the middle. Thanks for the great feedback!
