Smile So I am pretty new to the MB and to Cricut in general. However, I have been making cards for several years and a trick I have is using a marker that matches the item I want to 'pop' around the edges of the pop dot. That way, there is no white showing when you look at the card from the side. It seems to me that after all the time spent inking edges, this was the next logical step to get rid of unwanted white!

Another little trick I have is using 'milk crates' for my paper storage. I am sure a lot of people do that, but I added plant dollies under mine to make them easy to move around. They roll like a dream even on my thick carpet. I can move them all over the house if I want.

Here are a couple of pictures:

Hope it helps someone!Wink

Great idea on the pop dots. I hate to have white showing. I have used the markers to edge the cuts I make on my cricut if the paper will not soak up the ink and sometimes even if it does it leads to an antique effect. Good idea on the milk cart and dolly, do you leave you paper in packs?

I leave the pads together. Otherwise, I use legal sized hanging file folders to keep the single sheets somewhat together. I also keep the folders pushed up tight to keep the papers from 'rolling'! I use markers for lots of things too!

Hi The Nan, welcome to the MB.....
I also use markers on my pop dots to hide the white, I have also used coloured foam. Sometimes the foam is pretty thin so I glue a couple pieces together to give me more depth and I punch out my pop dots with various size/shape paper punches, works like a charm and no annoying white showing through!!!
