Does anyone know if I can create a phrase in a text box and then print it but not cut it? This would be very useful for a scrapbook layout.

With an Imagine that's an easy yes answer (using your fonts on your cartridges). With an Expression, you can use the markers or pens to create a phrase, using a font on one of your cartridges of course...

Hope that helps!

When you are designing with Imagine, the Preview screen has a "Cricut Mode" drop down menu in the upper left corner. You can choose between Print & Cut, Print, and Cut.

Are you talking about the settings on the Imagine itself because I am already familiar with the cut only feature there. I'm wondering if I can print only when designing with ccr?

While we don't know what machine you're using, I have come to the conclusion (I have always thought we couldn't do this) that YES, WE CAN PRINT AND NOT CUT WITH OUR EXPRESSIONS. I don't know about the other machines. BUT, it would be that same as when we're using our Expressions without CCR (or being hooked to the internet). ALL WE HAVE TO DO IS PUT OUR MARKERS IN THE HOUSING and PRINT AWAY!

I honestly never thought about this and assumed we couldn't use our markers. NOW, I can't wait to try it, because it can't do anything but print if we have the markers in the housing. UNLESS THERE'S SOMETHING I DON'T KNOW, though, we would not also be able to CUT our image after printing in CCR.

If our goal was to only PRINT, then I'm positive we can. AND, that brings up a lot of possibilities for our creations that I had never thought of before.

The preview screen in Craft Room has a setting that allows you to choose Print & Cut, Cut, or Print. Click here for a picture.
