Hello everyone,

I'm really just getting started on projects with my Cricut. I want to make Vinyl wall art and I have picked the Home Logo from one of my cartridges. I have tried to cut it in 4 inches. The machine will not cut it. Keeps on saying that 4 inches is too large. I have changed it from Landscape to Portrait still saying the same thing. It wont let me cut it unless I do it 2 1/4 inches. Any suggestions. Flapper

if you use the 12 x 24 mat you can cut it 4 inches.

the top one is 2 1/4 inches and the bottom is 4 inches

home

the 2 1/4 inches is roughly how tall it is

Depends on the machine you're using and what mats you have. I'd suggest, if you haven't already, cutting it in paper. If you haven't already, push the fit to page option and then cut (on paper). Watch the screen and it'll tell you the max size you can cut. Are you wanting the letters themselves 4" tall I take it? You'd need the 24" long mat to do that.

HTH :)

you can get more length if you will lay it out diagonally on your 12" mat but if you are only laying on a 12 x 12 layout, this would make it to long to fit your page. Diagonally, I could get it to about 3.5" height
