Hi all, I'm new, obviously! I just finished ordering my Expression and am soooo excited to get it! Tomorrow is my big 30th birthday so I asked for gift cards so I could get an Expression since i have been dying for one forever! Anyhow...I am excited to get involved on the boards and soak in all the great information I am sure I will find! While I await delivery of my machine are their any tips, must have cartridges or tools that I just HAVE to buy? I LOVE making cards and scrapbooking. My scrapbooks are generally family oriented and I have 2 little girls. I also homeschool so any advice on cartridges I might find helpful would be appreciated! Thanks so much in advance!

Welcome!

I'm new myself so I don't have too much advice to give but there are some cartridges that you might utilize: 50 States, My community, Stretch Your Imagination. Look for cartridges you could make things with for the kids learning. You could also look for cartridges that you could decorate the room you utilize for home schooling to make it look even more like a classroom. I'm not sure how old the children are, but I think if you decorate with animals, numbers, letters, etc. The possibilities are endless! In my opinion each cartridge could be used for their learning and growth. You could also have them learn with the Cricut. They can make Art class go even farther by creating new projects with the Cricut. It's so much fun but it's addicting! Good luck!!

Welcome to the message board!

I know you will love your E!! There are so many cartridges out there that choosing can be mind-boggling! Find a website that shows the images on cartridges. This will help you decide which ones best suit your needs.

I do not have small children, so your needs will be different from mine. However...here are some of my favorites
**Paper Doll Dress Up (lots of extras that can be used for everything)
**Paper Lace (beautiful stuff!!)
**Botanical Lite (so many images, a font, 5 beautiful cards)
**Country Life
**Wild Card

Happy crafting and be sure to post your creations!
Carolyn
