Good morning everyone, I'm a newbie on here. I own a Cricut Create and my friend has just bought a Cricut Imagine. She is having trouble with the set up and needs some help. She started the set-up and got to the part where she needed to pop in the ink cartridges at the back, but they won't fit. There seems to be a bar in the way at the bottom. We called support late yesterday afternoon and they sent here a way to update the machine over the internet. We didn't manage to sort it out and I'm going back over to help her in an hour, any ideas please? Thanks in advance!

I had the same problem there for a second. The machine has to be on for the bar that is infront of the slots for the ink cartridges to go in. I turned mine on, waited for it to make all it's noises, and then opened the lid for the ink. At that point the bar had gone down far enough to get the cartridges in. The bar had a little give in it and I did have to nudge it down a little to get the second cartridge in but after that it all worked great.
