HELP! Working on stuff for my lil man's bday this weekend. I just bought Word Builders: A word Party for the tracks! I am tryig to cut the tracks out and it consistently says won't fit except at one inch.I'm using 6x12 paper. I'm using the original cricut machine.

I'm looking at the spiral notebook that came with the cartridge wondering if I'm doing something wrong but have no idea how to interpret this book! Looking at p 52

I wanted to make larger tracks to put together to go around the table and then also use some tracks for "pin the train on the track"

Hopefully someone can help me to understand how to make larger tracks.

TIA!

it has to do with the height/width ratio on the shapes

the tracks on top are sized at 1 inch

the tracks on the bottom are sized at 2 inches

as you can see the 2 inch tracks are longer than 12 inches

So with this cartridge then it's impossible to print anything bigger for tracks?

Know of any other cartridges I could get bigger tracks with?

Thanks for your reply.

if you have design studio or a gypsy you could size them the way you want and have the ability to rotate them on the mat to cut as big as possible.

I was wanting them to be wider, not necessarily longer.

Unfortunately I do not have the gypsy or design studio. I've been so out of the scrapbooking world that I was just telling my husband that I feel like I need Scrapbook lingo 101 and need to know the newest, hippest machine to have :)
