For Christmas, my husband bought me an Expression from Walmart's Black Friday sale. The first time I used it I thought it sounded kind of loud. I've been using it and it works fine; it's just loud. It sounds almost like there is a vibration happening somewhere. This past weekend I was at my local craft store and they were doing a demo with the Expression. The one they were using was very quiet compared to mine. I told the woman what my sounded like and she told me to return it if possible. I remeber reading several posts reguarding the Expressions sold at Walmart but most people said they saw no real difference in the quality of the ones sold there and the ones sold at craft stores.

Any suggestions??? Help!

Linda

I agree with the demonstrator! Take it back and ask for a new one. If Walmart won't help you out then give PC a call.

My first idea was to compare it to someone else's, volume wise, but since you heard one at the store, I would take yours back! Mine is pretty loud, but not vibrating wise!
Good luck!

Just a thought, but have you tried using it in a different location to see if it's just the accoustics? I have noticed that mine sounds louder in my craft room than at the dining room table due to room size. It may be a long shot, but worth a try!

Thanks for the suggestions...I brought it back to Walmart and they replaced it with no problem. This one sounds fine and I have been using it for a cuple of weeks now!
