Hi every one this is my first ever post. I have ordered my cricut ( original ) last week from craft tv in scotland. We have only just started to get these machine over here and am so excited and cant wait for it to come. I have been trying to do alot of research before my machine arrives so i can get started straight away. My machine is comeing with 2 cartriges, george and sampler. I have been looking around already for which cartridge i am going to but next but there are so many i am comfused. What is the difference between a cricut cartridge and a lite cartridge?Huh any advice would be grateful

BigGrin Hi, Here the Lites are exclusive to WalMart. They do not have as many images on the cart as a regular cart. Not as many options. But, I have 3 because they do have some really nice choices. I hope you enjoy your Cricut as much as I enjoy mine. Hope this helps.

There are also Solution Carts and Seasonal Carts that will work in your machine as well. Both of these have less images to cut and fewer options than a full cart.
Hope you enjoy your machine. Post your projects on the board when you have finished them.

The "cake" carts, all of the original cake carts and the Martha Stewart cake carts, will also work in your Cricut.

If you go to cricut.com, click on the Information tab at the top and then Cart Library, you can view each individual cart handbook to see the images on the cart.
