Hi,

I'm new to this whole thing and was thinking of purchasing a Cricut because it looks like a lot of fun. I'm a complete newbie and I was wondering which machine would be the best starter. There are so many and I'm not sure which one is the best one.

Thank You!
Melissa

Well it depends what kind of projects you want to make. So if you want big cuts get the Expression and if you want small ones I would get the create. I bought an Expression first and I am glad I did. Not to mention on BF Walmart is having a sale on colorful Expressions that include a bonus new cartridge. I don't own an Imagine but if you would like to print and cut you might want that one. It is the newest.

I started with the small one and QUICKLY outgrew it....sold it got the Expression and LOVE it!

With the sales coming through the holiday I would recommend you watch for a good deal on the expression...

I am also a newbie. I bought a small one on ebay thinking that I wanted to make sure that I like it. I love it wish I had gotten the bigger one in the first place. If you can go bigger first

I cast my vote for the E too! I just got mine this summer and I am so happy I did. Check out the adds and see who is giving you the biggest bang for your buck some machines come with two Cartridges and the mat , some come with four , some come with more carts and tools too so you really have to look around, and don't forget on line stores. You might be able to get a good deal and free shipping.
Good Luck!!

I have 2 baby bugs and 1 expression...the expression gets used the most! Buy an E and save yourself some money on an upgrade! Walmart has them cheap today.
