Here's what I kinda think - they have lowered the price of the G - really low.
All the cartridges have come way down in price (except the newer ones) Now what I think - and it is just speculation - is that they are coming out with a replacement G that will use the same type of cartridges as the Imagine. DISCLAIMER: THIS IS JUST MY SPECULATION AND DOES NOT COME FROM ANYWHERE BUT MY FEEBLE BRAIN!!!!

On one of the videos, the PC Imagine team engineers said there would be a newer gypsy because the current one cannot handle the Imagine carts.

Can you not use the Imagine carts in the regular Cricuts?

There was the patent they applied for that seemed like one of the new IPad, I think that's what you call it. In the short version, everything Provocraft plugged in to it. There were some other aspects of it that I truly do not understand, but it seemed that you could design, use all typed of carts, and do it at one spot. I truly do not understand the 80 plus page patent app., but that what most of us figured it out to be.

I saw Paper Lace for $19.95--added it to my cart then clicked on the image and it is Winter Lace, not Paper Lace--changed my mind! I am disappointed--thought I was getting a great deal on a new full version cart!

I do not have an Imagine so I don't know a lot about it, but I believe there are some cartridges that only work with the Imagine and can't be linked to the Gypsy. Please, someone, correct me if I'm wrong.

The imagine carts are slightly different (smaller) that the reg. carts. So they only work in the Imagine. Maybe they will make it so that you can transfer those carts to the "G" through a special sync or through the "I" itself.

RE: HSN selling the paper lace cart for $19.95. Several of us have ordered it and the order and receipt shows that it is the full content cart so they better honor it. Someone even called them and was told it was the full cart. They screw it up, they will have to take it back for a full refund so I went for it. We shall see what I get.

but some of the ladies say that after you buy it...on your receipt...it's says paper lace...so it might be worth it to go ahead and get it...you can always send it back...

I am taking a chance and ordering it. I even had a code for an additional 15% off since I havent ordered for a while so I got it for $22 (including shipping). I am crossing my fingers that they havent messed up and listed Winter Lace by accident!
