I am so excited about my new toy, but I having issues with determining how to size my layers for my character. I am wanting a 5 in Mickey but the layers aren't fitting!!! Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks!

Make sure you don't have the real size button on. If it's not own your pieces should fit.

As already stated, in order for your layers fit together well, be sure your "real size" button is OFF. If the the real size button is on, everything will be cut the same size from top to bottom ... here's a sample of what I mean ...

In the sample below (pink), I used the real size button on and and the height set at one inch. As you can see, both Mickey's body, head and pants are a full inch in size, so naturally, the layers will not fit. Similarly, this shows a sample of the lower case alphabet ... notice how all the letters are sized at one inch from top to bottom, in reality, the "a" and the "c" should only be half that high.

The 2nd sample below (blue) shows how these same characters fit with the real size button off ... the body, face and pants will now fit together proportionately ... likewise, the alphabet is now shown in the correct proportions ...
