Does anyone know if this machine has the ablity to cut concentric circles? I have to cut 600 washer type pieces of paper 2.50" OD x 1.5" ID and a couple of other various concentric circles.

The machine will cut whatever design is in on the cartridge that is used. I do not know of any cart that has concentric circles, but perhaps someone else does.

Do you have Design Studio? You could set this up on there and cut them out....

Ok....I Figured I would set up a file for you just in case too....lol I used Plantain Schoolbook, and it will let you cut 16 circles from one 12x12 page. I'll upload it to my blog, rasklesmodernlife.blogspot.com

Thank you. I just purchased the design studio. I tried to install it on my computer, but I have a 64 bit opperating system. I will have to wait for my wift to get out of work to set it up on her laptop. Then she can download your file and I can cut my circles.

Thank you so much.

Not a problem! Be sure to look at some YouTube Videos on Design Studio and the blogs (like Capadia Designs) that are good with Design Studio. It really is a powerful program, but it takes a little bit to figure out the easiest way to do things. Hope that the paper washers turn out well for you!

P.S. Don't forget to save the extra circles they cut out in the middle....they may come in handy for another project in the future!

Hi Raskle, hope you don't mind, but I also downloaded your concentric circles. I know I will be able to use them. Thank you so much. I too am new at Design Studio. So many people have shared their files and I have just learned to download them. This whole cricut/design studio is soooo fun. Thanks again.

You can download the latest version of DS which is 64bit compatible. Get it here: http://www.cricut.com/CDS/Update.aspx

Then just use the serial number of your cd envelope to activate it. Smile

I don't mind at all! In fact.... It makes me happy knowing that I have helped others! BigGrin One trick I have learned from others is that if you are making many of the same thing...Size your first to the proportions you want, then in the same "line" of DS characters, click however many you need/can fit in a row. Then you can copy and paste the rows to add more without changing the sizes of everything all over again! Hope this helps! P.S. Let me know if you guys need something.... If I can make it for you, I will gladly and post it on my blog! Cool
