I felt like doing a little shopping today but was tired of seeing the same old stuffs at M's and J's so headed over to Tuesday Morning to see if there was anything unusual or just some good deals. Had a great time sifting through everything and found a few more tools to add to my collection: The Paper Gator, Dremmel Hot Glue Gun and a Laser Guide and Trimmer.

If you're interested in reading more about them, there is a brief review on each item on my blog. Wow, that's two blog posts today - I'm on a roll!! BigGrin

Great finds ... I did go to your blog to read your reviews on these items, it looks like these are going to be great items to add to your crafting tools ... but you never did mention what the costs were. Were they substantially discounted over regular discounted prices? A 20-30-40-50% off?????

BTW, that laser guide trimmer thingy looks very interesting ... I haven't seen one of those before. I'd love to hear more about it.

Carol, thanks for checking out my blog and the great suggestions. I went back and added the prices cause you're right....that's important stuff to know!! I also added some more detail about the laser ruler. BigGrin

The biggest reason I wanted the laser thingie is to align stuff straight on my layouts and cards. I just can't seem to get things adhered right. One end always seems to be down or up too far. Eyeballing it doesn't work for me and hopefully this will help. I also want to use it as a guide line for handwritten titles and journaling. Usually I use a ruler and make real light lines with a pencil and then go back and erase. I think this may work better. Will definitely let you know once I give it a good work out.

Okieladybug and I went to Tuesday Morning yesterday after the Norman swarm was over. We looked at the laser trimmer and the Papergator too!

After you've used them I would like for you to post how well you like these items and if you really think you're going to use them on a regular basis because neither of us had ever seen either of these.

The laser guide on the trimmer looks like it would be great!

Oh, and we did the same thing you did! LOL! We spent about 45 minutes sorting through the paper stacks and packs and walked out with some good bargains!

Did you happen to see any of the 25 count packs of the adhesive paper for the Slice? We think it's going to be great for cutting out letters since it's got the sticker adhesive on the back like contact paper.

Thanks everybody! BigGrin

LGuild, I didn't see any of the Slice sticky papers but wish I would have. Didn't really look at the paper but should have. Oh dear....now I guess I'll just HAVE to go back and look again! I always appreciate being enabled so thanks for letting me know about it. BigGrin

I will follow up on the tools after I've used them on an actual project. So far, just playing around with them I am very, very happy with the way they perform. ThumpUp

Great post! I saw those items the other day at my local Tuesday Morning, but I was not sure exactly how they worked. I visited your blog, and am now a follower. Your post was very informative!

Thanks!

Oakie...maybe you can sweet talk Linda into another road trip? ThumpUp Offer to buy her a pack of Slice paper or some other bribe?? I know I can always be bought for scrap supplies. Lol!

I wish I would have bought a couple more and may still go back and get one for a blog candy. Such a good price for a useful tool.

Arahbeth thanks for visiting my blog and especially for becoming a follower. BigGrin I don't have many yet but appreciate each and every one of you who are supportive in the beginning while I am still learning to be a blogger.

Great reviews on those items. Wish I had a Tuesday Morning near where I live. I don't think there is one in the whole state of Wyoming. I'd love that lazer guide and trimmer. My Mom has one in her city but I can't ask her to go there for me. She is 80+ years old and it is not that easy for her to shop.
