I just took my new Gypsy out of the box today & I'm attempting to charge it. I plugged it in & the blue light comes on. That's all it does though. Will the user agreement pop up after it's fully charged?
It's been charging for about an hour & I still have a blank screen. Is there something wrong with it?
thanks,
Rhoda

Yes the blue light goes on to let you know that it is on the charger.

Did you turn it on? You have to push the button on the right hand side to turn it on.

Plugging it in does not turn it on.

I pushed & held the button and the blue light came on but the screen doesn't light up. Does the screen light up while it's charging or does it have to wait until it's fully charged (2 1/2 hours?) before the screen lights up?

I just opened my Gypsy too and turned it on and I got the agreement right away but that is as far as I got - I don't want to mess with it until I have time to do all the updatesBigGrin

No don't hold the button in just push it and let go.

If you hold it in to long you turn it off again.

Try that.

That's what I was afraid of. I didn't get the agreement right away so that answers my question. Mine doesn't turn on. I assume you need to see the screen in order to turn it off also.
