A few days ago I posted that my E had stopped working and was not cutting. Some of you had great suggestions but unfortunately nothing worked and when I called Cricut they told me my only option at that point was to get a new machine or a refurbished one. Well I have a best friend who can fix anything and since I had nothing to lose I asked him if he would look at it. I brought it to him tonight and guess what???!!! He took apart the gray box assembly and one of the wires had not been siliconed and snapped off. He took his heat gun (sauder gun)and reattached it and it now works perfect!!! So happy that I didn't have to get a new machine! Thank you all so much for your help and suggestions! I love this MB!!!

I hate when things break unexpectedly and you think I could have used that money for something else I wanted. You should at least buy yourself a new cartridge for not having to pay 200+ for a new machine. Glad he could fix it!
