Doing Cards for Soldiers and other charities means I'm too far ahead, calendarwise. What I mean is that I have to have my holiday cards done and in the mail about 2 months in advance. So by the time the holiday season arrives I'm already over it! LOL!

So, while everyone's getting excited about making Halloween or Christmas cards, I'm finished with mine. Then I see such cute ones posted and always like them better than the ones I did!

Last year I had my personal Christmas cards done in July and by October I'd already seen 2 or 3 different ones that I wish I'd sent. LOL LOL LOL

This year I'm still considering my options for my personal cards and since I'm retiring as of Friday (YEAH!) I'll have plenty of time to get them done and in the mail!

Congratulations on retirement! I wish I could get ahead like that, even with wishing I had done something else. I hate getting down to the wire to get finished.

BigGrin I know what you mean. I got too far ahead and been working on Valentines. But it was taking too much joy out of this season so I quit making them.
