Now that I've got my envelope size problem solved, I need advice on envelope glueBlushing . I need something that I can put on the flap, but not seal up right away..something that can be sealed by someone else. What have you found works best??

Hi everyone!
I got some Envelope Gum made by Crafterscompanion.com yesterday at my local scrappbook store.
Here is what it said on the jar. It was $5.29,

Apply a thin coat of gum to the
envelope flaps and bond togeather
Once dry,unbonded flaps can be
remoistened to seal the envelope

I have not tryed it yet, but I like all the stuff that they make I am shure that it will work great.
Hope this helped.

Fay!

I just put some score tape on...and then when you are ready to seal it, you just remove the paper and close.

I buy mine here:

I got some "stuff" with an envelope pattern that I bought from HSN (I know, it costs more to ship than to buy the item). They also sell a set of three without the template.

Lick & Stick Remoistenable Envelope Glue (50 ml) from Green Sneakers
Directions: Remove Cap (duh!). Invert bottle, lightly squeeze while applying. Let dry. Moisten to seal envelope.
Non-toxic, Non-flammable

Just what I have on hand now

I also purchased this on HSN. This stuff is wonderful!!!
I make all my envelopes ahead of time. I even sent myself a card to see if could withstand the postoffice abuse and it was returned still completly sealed.

Went to www.greensneakers.com and you can buy it direct from them for $1.50 a bottle (50 ml). Didn't check on shipping charges, but they've got to be cheaper than HSN!!

I use Lick & Stick as well, and it works great every time on all paper. I bought mine online at OMC. I was able to have 5 delivered for the same shipping price as one. Hope this helps.

Great! Nice to have options in case the stuff I'm using doesn't work, or I can't get any more of it. Thanks for sharing, everyone!
