I am doing a pumpkin theme for my son's first birthday next week. So far I made some awesome invitations with the Stretch Your Imagination cartridge, and I am in the process of making a birthday banner. However I am looking for ideas for party favors and other small decorations. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I was wanting to make little pumpkin bags/boxes in particular for the favors, but the SVG files that I found were no longer available.
Thanks in advance!

I know this wasn't what you had in mind but it popped into my head as I read your post. I think I got the idead from MS. You place your 'favor items' on a few pieces of stacked oranged crepe paper. Gather the corners and sides making a little sac, and twist. Put green tape around the ends that you've twisted to make a stem. Guests tear them open to get to the goodies. I'm pretty sure Mike's carries an MS kit witch's broom version of this craft idea. You can add a pipe cleaner for a vine and leaf to write the guest's name on.

My grandkids love the miniature pumpkins to have 'as their own'. I think that would be a cute favor. If you wanted to go a little further, you could put a vinyl face for a jack-o-lantern. These could be wrapped as the above poster stated.

I don't know why you couldn't just cut your own little box and put the same pumpkin on either side of it.

Well I was going to say purchase enough mini pumpkins for each kid and then have them decorate it on their own and then that would be their favor b/c they would take it with them. But then I saw it's for a first birthday lol.

Ummm how about buying the pillsbury pumpkin cookies and wrapping them in a cello bag?
