I have had a Create for a few years. I got a new E2 this past August. I pulled it out for a big project. I have had problems with from the start. I use my gypsy all the time. For this problem I also tried it without the gypsy. Everything has been updated on the machine.

My blade sounds like it is dragging. I can't seem to cut at any speed except the slowest. No matter what pressure or depth setting I use, the blade cuts into the mat. I put a new blade in. Same thing. I swapped the blade housing to use the Create one. Same thing. I changed that blade to a new one. Same thing. I tried my project with the Create. Everything works fine! No blade problems, no speed problems.

Do I have a dud? Crying I live in Canada and this was a gift to me bought from Costco in Canada. I was so excited to have a bigger cutting mat to work with.

Call Support - you will find the number by clicking the Support button at the top right of this page. They will help you troubleshoot over the phone. If you got it in August, it should also still be under warranty, and replaceable, if necessary. HTH

Thanks. I'll do that this week. For now I'll have to do all my stuff on the Create.
