Did you all see the new Spritzer? I have only 1 or 2 of the Distress Markers because I figure with Copics I didn't really need them but I do think that would make great splatter patterns and then it would match your ink. hmmmmFlapper

I saw the new spritzer but not sure I want that... I want some those dies, though!! And the drop shadow embossing folders with the words. I like those a lot.

I saw video on paper clippings. He said you can use the spritzer with Copics. ( not trying to enable you or anything)

I think the spritzer is one of the items I would like to have after watching his video and seeing that you can use it with other markers and ink pens and not just his line. Since I have some copics that are setting in a drawer not being used maybe this will help.

The G45 Beyond the Sea paper collection I know I want as I am trying to get my dd's wedding pictures scrapped for her. She has only been married for 5 years now. LOL LOL and since the wedding was outdoors by the bay at her husbands uncle's house this will work perfectly for some of them.

Waving hi to my partner JeanP.. Finally have my room redone so I think I can find things now.

I haven't even paid any attention to CHA videos this week. Too busy and no free time at all. Still have a busy weekend too as I'm hosting bday dinner on Sunday. So shopping and prep and cleaning on Saturday!

So next week I will finally be able to sit myself down and start to concentrate on this swap. Most of my original ideas were centered around Christmas directives as I originally started to formulate this swap for a xmas swap. So I certainly need to re-think the directives! lol

Heck, I don't even know if my partner likes pink or hates pink....so I have some research to do and will probably be asking her some questions next week too! It's a good thing I added a month on to this swap! lol I obviously need the time!

I must be one of the few people in this world that say January is a busy month instead of the month that drags on the most.

I'm just so happy to finally be able to concentrate on this swap and enjoy the process!

Gwen,

Pink is fine with me, I'm hoping you like blue and white, lol. Started my last project today "blue and white", got the idea off a card
I had seen, although it is not a card that I am making. I must say, things always look easier that what they really are, I will see something and say "oh that looks simple"...no, not always the case, probably should have stuck with the card, lol!!

Anyway, thinking (hoping) I might be done by next weekend!

You are so lucky to be almost finished! And me not even with one directive done yet!

I do like blue and white. Most of the time color is not a make or break deal for me as I'm more into enjoying what was made for me and experiencing seeing something new and different or maybe something I haven't made myself or better yet....may have made but never keep one for myself! lol

Once I get past this weekend, then I'll be ready to sit down with thinking cap on and then you might receive an email from me with some questions.

Waiting for the snow to stop so I can get on the road and get my shopping done. I wasn't planning on snow flurries the entire morning! GRRR! I thought we were just getting a dusting of snow.

So glad I am not the only one that is dragging there feet or should I say fingers on this one.

I did watch a lot of video's so now I need to get cracking and make something wonderful for my partner because she sure deserves it.

I am thinking I will make everything beachy spring nad hot hot hot as it is cold cold cold here and I am not liking it one bit so if i do beachy hot items I will feel better. LOL

Oh well it is worth a shot ... This has got to be the coldest winter we have had for a long time and maybe it is just the getting older thing but it is the pits as far as I am concerned.

Have a safe and wonderful week and try to stay warm.

I agree on such a horrid, cold winter! The snowstorm is apparently staying just south of us here...but not the windchill! Like these kids need another day of cancelled school! They will be going half the summer if this weather keeps up for another month!

You know what is so funny? Years ago at the BigE (I think) my DH told me to buy the RenArt spritzer and marker set and I asked him why. He said you never know when it will come in handy
So I guess I will play around with it. Looks just like the TH one but without his nameBlushing Blushing

I am watching the videos on the TH blog and have found a few items I would like to have. I see no need for the mini inks or a few other things though. I do like the sand & sea setBigGrin and the shadow press embossing folders.

I just finished my 'blueprint" directive. I think they came out pretty good and I can't decide which 2 to send so Terri might be getting all 3 that I made.BigGrin
So I have 3 directives finished and one other one half done. I might get to make something tomorrow if I have that snow dayLOL

Kids had summer vacation the first week in June, they are now into the last day of the second week and we are suppose to get more snow/frigid cold, geez...when will it end!!

I have finally finished this swap and just got done packing a box for the Post Office, it is now 12:46 Am...yeah, time for bed, lol.

Gwen, I hope when this box arrives at your house it puts a huge smile on your face. I sent ya some surprises as a thank you for helping me on the boards when I first started, you were a great help...much appreciated. This is actually our first swap together...looking forward to seeing your creations. I believe I have your addy, but I will PM you just to confirm.

Stay warm everyone!!!Smile

I was struggling with the H directive and I'm really not happy with my end result!!!!!
I will set it aside for now and if I still don't like it later on, I will try to make something else or maybe use this as a buy item. I really don't want to buy but one item might be okayBigGrin.

On to my next project-hope it comes out better than the H directiveBigGrin

Jean, been there...done that! Like you, I put it to the side then go back to it, had the same issue with my (T) directive, decided to scratch the entire thought and refurbished to make something else! Could drive ya nuts sometimes, lol!

Gwen, your goodies are on their way, it will arrive tomorrow. You are only a couple hour drive from me, should have just delivered it myself, lol!

Very excited to receive my swap box, for sure! Thanks!

KSQueenB - Get ready to get spoiled! (At least, I hope you feel spoiled!) I sent you your package today and you should get your package by Monday. I have to say I had a blast doing this swap. Once I started I couldn't stop :)

Tracking #: 9114901159815546995068

I really, really hope you like everything. I tried out some new things. I did forget to send an envelope that kind of explains what item is which letter. I mailed those separate.

ENJOY!

Man! Another one quick to mail! How exciting!

Just checked DC and mine is out for delivery, but then there is another post about how it's available for pick up. SO I have NO idea why that was posted after the out for delivery post! Guess I'll stop at PO and make sure it's not sitting on the shelf before I head out to my appt.

It makes no sense to me but I would be so upset if I got back home this afternoon only to discover my pkg. was still sitting at the PO and they close at noon....

Snow hasn't started yet...maybe it will stay away! One can only hope....

Have a great day and be sure to peek back later to drool over my goodies from Maria!

and NO DIBBS! I always forget to state that fact....

I just checked tracking too and it says it is ready for pick up...it's a large flat rate box, they may not have had a place to leave it...hoping it is at the PO!

Gwen if you are missing the snow I can send you some.

It has been snowing all morning and even though it is not big flakes it is still adding up and so very cold, windy and just plain yucky.

So I am going to see what I can get into today.

Stay warm everyone.

Gwen I don't think you said no dibbs that would not be nice...LOL LOL LOL

I'm home and getting ready to start opening up my Tim Holtz goodies!
T - Tryptech - Texture with embossing powders, glitter
I - Ideology Products - worn book covers & binder rings
M - Mixed Media - bird cage, metals, tarnished silver, stencils
H - Christmas Card - sticky powder w/ rock candy glitter; distess paint marbling
O - ornate plates
L - color chart book - everything & anything techniques too long to list!
T - configuration box
Z - Tag and folder with stamped images

plus she sent me a nice RAK too! Lucky me! I got spoiled!

Plus she printed out all his color labels too for my bottles and pads! Which is awesome as I just bought a circle punch last weekend to do this project but my color ink cartridge is about to run out so I couldn't print anything out this week! Plus I just bought last weekend a perfect bottle stand turntable thingie for all my TH paints that I found at ACM. So her sending me these printouts is just too perfect of timing! Thanks!

OMG! The home made projects are just amazing! If only you all could touch these in your hands and feel the textures and see up close all the little things added to the pages. I just opened up each one and I'm thinking I probably shouldn't post pics yet cuz Maria has set the bar extremely high! Pictures are never going to do justice to what she has created! If you are a Timmy lover, you are going to be booking the next available plane to fly to Sayre to rob me of my precious treasures! No joke! Thank you so much Maria for a lovely swap box!

These pictures are never going to do justice but I'll try my best to show you...get your drool bibs out!

Gwen super happy you liked your goodies, but I must say I am a bit confused. This swap was between me and you...Kelley had nothing to do with it. The only thing I mention when it came to Kelley, is that she mention doing a folder for the stamped images I made for you and yes it was a good idea. This entire swap was all me, my creations, my ideas...100%. So I'm unsure where you read that Kelley mentored me through this swap, because don't remember writing that.

Kelley does do amazing work and I will always give credit where credit is due, but I will have to say I am going to take full credit for this one.

Again, super happy you liked everything, hope you can put it to good use!!

My deepest apologies for mentioning Kelley. My bad that I read too much into your mention of Kelley on the note. That's what I get for rushing to say thank you and post pictures before rushing out the door for the evening. I just assumed too much but I was remembering how much you enjoyed swapping with Kelley last summer and how she sent you that partially finished paintbrush and you finished it and posted on your blog, etc. So I just meant that she helped you along to understand grunge and all that stuff she started on that paintbrush handle thingy because the notebook you made and the tag too are just so grungy and awesome looking! They just made me think of Kelley and actually CoyoteKim too who several of us have admired this past couple of years. But in no way did I mean to take away from you your talent and wonderful projects that you made just for me! Now we'll be looking up to you too! It's an honor so be happy, not upset with me please! I was rushing to post before leaving for the evening and didn't take time to re-read my posts and realize my words could be and would be interpreted incorrectly.

It's a beautiful swap box with no complaints from me at all.
