I've just begun to try out CCR. I searched images for Happy Birthday and noticed the Happy Birthday from Paper Lace 2 wasn't listed. Is this common? Are there cartridges that are not included in the search? Has anyone ran across this?
TIA Kathy

It depends on which keywords PC use to code the cartridges. It's not uncommon for images not to show up when searching for them in CCR.

If you just use Happy as the search word the Paper Lace Happy Birthday does show up! Smile

Thanks Narelle. I'll just have to remember to ask different ways!

I have noticed problems with the image search feature in CCR also. I was searching for a dolphin and searched both "dolphin" and "porpoise". I knew that I had seen a dolphin that wasn't showing up! I finally found it on the Car Decals cartridge, but couldn't get it to show up with any key words at all! I even tried "fish" just in case the coder didn't know the difference. This has happened other times and it makes me wonder how many other images I may not ever be able to find in a search. I own well over 100 cartridges so I rely on the search feature often. I guess the only way to be sure is to look through all of the booklets!

It's true the Search is only as good as the keyword attached to an image. And, unfortunately, the early carts were "keyworded" with search friendly terms because there wasn't a search feature until DS was released. By then, there was lots of carts that had be coded with keywords like Flower1 or Accent.

While I do like the Search feature in CCR, I often use mycutsearch.com as well.
