This looks like such a fun Swap!!! Have a quick question before I sign up for February or beyond.

Can we create our cards on premade A2 cards? I have boxes of plain and some patterned A2 cards laying around. They're blank and either have a solid color front or patterned front, no embellishments at all.

Thanks!

Hi Catita - Yes you may use a pre-made card base and then add your embellishments and layers of fun stuff !

Would be glad to have you join us. BigGrin

Yes - postage can be in cash or stamps. I usually return your cards by making a label via computer that has automatic tracking for free. Most of the time $2.00 will cover everything unless we get some really heavy cards to have to send out.

Barb,

The mitten/snowball cards Amanda made are for January. She wanted to make gift card holders and thought that she would do 2 of them one for Christmas and a winter theme one. I was writing the inserted cards for them and wrote them the same.....

I am looking forward to get the swapped cards this month....

Now i need to get my craft room cleaned. Procrastination..... I have never procrastinated this long on cleaning my craft room... It still has glitter all over the place from the December and January cards.

I think my Cricut is lonely because today is the first time I have turned it on since mid December.

SCRATCH THAT LAST POST. Just read the last 2 weeks of posts and it sounded like you were getting January's cards early enough to mail back out before the cut off.

So, please sign me up for February and March. BigGrin

Yes - I decided to close January at this point...and move on to Feb. Takes the pressure off for people when they have ample time.
You are on for February though Love

Denise

Hi Denise - Yes mail is Jan. 30th at the latest...just letting you know that I have everyones cards in except for yours and Lori's. I will wait on them as the 30th is the agreed upon date. No worries...just wanted to send early if possible since there are several Valentine cards in the lot.
Admittedly, I have had confusion problems with people sending multiple months of cards together, as it is 1) a storage problem 2) a possibility that I will get the cards mixed up 3) I sometimes have problems keeping track of the postage, even though I try to write everything in a notebook.
Therefore, I may have to ask that no one send more than one month allottment of cards at the same time in the same envelope. I am considering that at this time.

By the way - Here are the pix I promised last night of a cute little Penguin Valentine from Coppertop first, and the second card is a a Winter All Occasion greeting that I made using an acetate overlay that has "snow" on it, over a stamped image of a S.W.A.L.K. stamp and colored with my Spectrum Noir pens...

OK, well I was just going by what was posted in the original post, that we could send in more than one month. We are settling in with 12 inches of snow today and tonight and as soon as I get out, probably Thursday, I will mail January out.

Barb, I had to clean my craft room... I couldn't function with it the way it was. I have 18 feet of work space and it was all 4 inches deep with piles of stuff. I how ever did make amanda help me clean it.... She wasn't so happy with me after that. I couldn't even set my laptop on the desk. I am glad I got my January cards in early so that I didn't have to stress on getting them done in January. It took me 2 weeks to clean my space. It still isn't totally clean but at least we can use the work spaces now.

WIll be working on FEb. March and April cards this month so I can get them in early....

We are going to Dallas Texas in a couple weeks soo My goal is to get them done before I leave.

Hope all is well with everybody...

Stay warm all the peeps in the cold land and stay cool all you peeps in the hot land.... We are in a severe drought situation here in Oregon and We are doing all the rain dancing we can do...... Please pray for us some rain. Our mountains don't have enough snow to open the ski resorts. We are hurting. last week we were under severe wild fire watch. They were pulling troops out to search for wildfires in the forests.

Quite an unusual day here in FLorida... The Northern part of the state is getting SNOW !! Yep - you heard me right ! Of course, due to the flurries of snow coming down in the state capital of Tallahassee (where my son lives) they have cancelled school tomorrow !! Ridiculous...but people here do not know how to drive in these conditions, so they dont want the liability of putting school busses on the road here.

I am about 180 miles South of there and it was 70+ degrees here today and we may get some rain later tonight....so I am okay with our weather at this point ! Love

I got some lovely cards in the mail today from Lori...Very nicely done cards for a friend with lovely stamping and embellished with glitter and pink striped twine !! Thanks Lori. I will post the pix of the other one next month.

Raising my hand here. lol.LOL I was one of those people. I lived in Miami for six years and it where I learned to drive. So coming up to Jersey was an eye opening experience in term of driving in the snow. V-E-R-Y scary!

Thank you for the kind words about my cards. I went a little out of my box for this one. It is more CAS than my usual style but I enjoyed it. I am going to try stamping some more!
