Flapper I was going to get another expression to use with CCR, but I really can't see spending $200 for a backup machine.
OhMyGod I noticed PC is having a "Mothers Day" sale and the mini is ($75)= $99 with a $25 rebate.
I wasn't going to get the mini cause its not a use alone machine.
LOL Who am I kidding!!!! I got my gypsy a few months after the expression. I wouldn't know how to use the machines by themselves.LOL LOL LOL
Wub I'm too spoiled at seeing my creation before I cut.
ThumpUp I need your HONEST opinion about the mini???
LOL and make it quick...the sale ends May 1st
Huh I'm just worried that with the mini on sale(cheap)....maybe its going into retirement (soon)???Mad you can't trust PC anymore....
RollEyes part of me says GRAB IT and the other says no wait save up your $$$ and get anotherr expression. WHAT TO DO???

Love the mini! It is noisy when it cuts, but it cuts beautifully! Easy to use with the Gypsy. I have not tried it with CCR. I put my Mini, Gypsy, Kindle Fire (with handbooks on it), mat, blades, cords, into a shoulder bag and I am ready to roll!! Very convenient and light weight!

Plus, it sits on my craft table and takes up just a little bit of space!

I love mine so much that I had a 2nd one sent to my daughter's house so I can use it when I'm there visiting. Mine is very quiet. WAAAAY quieter than E2. MamaC if it is still under warranty you might want to check on this. Anyone else's noisy or did I just get lucky with a quiet one?

Thank you! I won my Mini at the first Circle Mania in Atlanta last year. So, I guess the warranty is over. However, I don't really mind the noise. I can work on something in another part of my room (in the house LOL ) and know when the cutting is over. And...as long as it is noisy...I know it is working! BigGrin

Plus...I sorta have the idea that if it ain't broke, don't fix it!! LOL Things could get worse!

GET THE MINI!!! NOW!!! I have the Baby, Create and Expression - and this machine cuts better than any of them. It is smooth and quiet. PC really improved the cutting quality of this machine. The only thing that could improve it, would be able to use it as a stand alone machine.

You will love the mini.

I have a mini and I love it too! Love Love Love I also have an expression, but the mini is the perfect size to take along to crops (I use it with my gypsy at crops). I also use my mini with CCR at home.

I refuse to update my E (because of an unmentionable reason LOL) so my G does not work with my E anymore. Crying I needed something that would work with my G and I got a fabulous deal on my mini at an HSN outlet and I couldn't be happier. Go ahead and get it, you will not be disappointed! It's a great little machine! BigGrin BigGrin BigGrin

Well, y'all just talked me into ordering one! I got it to use with CCR. I love my Expression, but prefer to keep it free from my computer. I have a digital credit and a free digital copy of Trick or Treat Kids, so I need to finally try CCR. Hopefully shipping will be quick, because now I am super anxious!

I love it. Small and cuts beautifully and I'm even using CCR although it works nicely with my Gypsy too. My favorite thing about it is that it's so simple and non anxiety producing. All the other machines, and yes I have them all, make me so nervous with all the update problems etc., that I don't enjoy using them anymore. Sad, isn't it? Hope you love your new mini as much as I love mine.

I'm tempted to get one also. Now that I have some digital items because to the gypsy $20 thing. No room near the computer for the E and I don't want to risk updating it as it works great. So the mini would be much more portable but I just went to the dark side and really don't have the money for another machine.

This is EXACTLY what I thought when I bought my MINI at launch for $99. I really love my MINI.

BUT, I love my 12X12" mat on the Expression, too.....so, several years later I have gone ahead and bought my backup Expression when it was on sale for $170 with the two flower cartridges. I'm really happy to have my 12X12" backup.

I also am really happy I bought the MINI. Many times, sitting here at my computer, I can just place the smaller images on my MINI MAT, turn on the MINI (within five feet of my computer) and CUT quicker than booting up my old computer (room behind our main computer) and turning on the Expression. I love my Expression, though, when I'm cutting multiple images on one 12X12" mat.

I have a mini, but I don't use it as I don't like being tied to the internet. Right now, I couldn't use it even if I wanted to - my Gypsy is broke and CCR won't let me in. So, I'm glad I have my Imagine and my Expression. I do plan on using my Gypsy more, once I get it fixed, so maybe I will start using my mini more then.

Yes, I noticed that. The problem is that I have bought 26 cartridges the past month so gotta work for more money before buying a back up machine. And while I would LOVE to whip out a crdeit card and buy it now...especially with all this peer pressure going on in here!! Drool I refuse to do so. I'm kinda a recovering credit card addict and can't go back to that again. No cash, no buy is my motto now.
