OMGosh! We had a hard longgg dragged out winter & now all we get is gloomey rain wet days. Glare
Mother nature is really giving us some depressing weather. I have arthritis so this damp wet rain isn't good for me at all. Today my knee doesn't want to bend at all & the pain is bad. I've had arthritis since I was a kid, so am use to it & had numerous surgeries, but I was doing good for quite a while.

I might have to make myself go to the gym & walk, I don't walk outside unless it's super nice out so I need an indoor area {track} or gym.

This has to end, the sun has to come out. Right?

I live in the wrong part of the country.

Janis

PS-Sorry to be so negative, it's just going on for wayyy too long.

I feel for you. I have SAD, so winters are hard on me for different reasons. Now that the days are getting longer, I can put away my therapy light. My knees also act up when the weather is damp and cold, but I can't blame just arthritis. I'm sure losing a few pounds would also help. I hope you get some sunny, warm weather soon. In July, you will wish for cool fall air. By all means, GO to the GYM! Exercise is a wonderful anti-depressant. Hope you feel better soon!

Janis, my husband and I were talking this morning about how long winter has been. It's sunny here today but still quite chilly...at least it is for me. I'm always cold. The hottest of summer days are comfortable for meConfused. I remain hopeful that warm, sunny weather is on the way! (but I guess it's be careful what you wish for, right?)

I, too, want the sunshine and the warmth, desperately. At least we have had some sun, but the warm days are still flirting with us. I have arthritis as well, and my right knee will just swell up and hurt terribly when it is rainy and cold. I do PT for it, but nothing takes the pain away completely except the long, hot days of summer. Today I wore a sundress and my high heeled, open toed espadrilles in protest. My DH asked if I was cold. " Of course I am," I replied, "but I am hoping God will see me trying to desperately bring on the sun, and take pity on all of us!" GG
