I saw a post on here how to cut fabric with the iron paper . Anyone know if you cut the cloth side or the paper side and what speed cutter number etc.. Thanks Joanne

I cut with the fabric side up (just cut some yesterday actually) and I cut it at high speed and max pressure I think blade is at 4 - you can cut slower if it is thicker material. Hope this helps.

The iron on stuff (I'm blanking on the name right now) sticks to your mat very nicely. Some people use the temp stuff and then take it off after cutting. I like the permanent stuff and then iron it onto whatever I'm making.

I cut fabric all them time on my cricut. The iron on stuff I found to work the best is called Heat & Bond Ultra (the ultra works best). Once I iron on fabric I place frabic on matt (paper side down) my needle is on 6, me pressure is high and my speed depends on the design. If it is an intricute design my speed is slower. I only use 100% cotton. I find that the fabric quarters from Joann's quilting sections are the perfect size and the selection is endless.
