Did you just now catch that? LOL. I am really good with anything you have on hand as long as it isn't pink and/or cutesy - all is good.

First of all, I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Jealous. He is my unrequited love. He just takes my money all the time, yet how can I resist as he just has a hold on me. I have two huge wooden organizer boxes and three shelves in an Alex devoted to my fair timmy. Not to mention the paper, configuration boxes, etc. that won't fit in there. Secondly, I am really jealous. Thirdly, have fun and enjoy it. Don't forget your camera as he will pose with you. I think I will go cry now. BigGrin

Jean, you will not be disappointed! I remember how much Peachy enjoyed his workshop a couple years ago.

And I'm pretty sure you get spoiled rotten with supplies he hands out to everyone! So you get a lot of your money's worth back in products!

I have been the recipient of Jean's talents before so I know the quality first handWub Wub and really happy to learn that Ms Melody (at least the personality that I chatted with LOL ) does want an Asian creation. I was looking forward to doing something "different" so I am excited for the challenge! Off to finish up my April swaps!

So , that just goes to show there are more than one exception to the rule. You and Jean are the proof of that.

Back to my glue post for a moment - when adhering and sealing the paper....my preference is a multi-medium matte over that of modge podge. In my opinion it works so much better. I don't get the bubbles as long as smooth as I set down. It has a shorter dry/set time. It sets right away and completely dry within a few minutes. It doesn't have that tackiness either.

Tim Holtz usually uses 2 different ranger brands which are pretty much the same product - different name: glue & seal and studio multi medium matt. The are white and dry on clear. These are excellent products and work really really well. However it is 6.99 a tub on average at 1.75. Our M's discontued carrying both - so no coupon's for me on it.

Golden has a brand Golden Matte Medium. It is clear and dries clear. Works just as well as the other brand for gluing and sealing. The 8 oz bottle is about 8.99 = 1.12 per ounce before coupon and it is 5.39 after the 40% coupon and .67 an ounce after. It can be found in the pain section with the mediums. You can also use it as a paint extender.

What mediums do you use?

Hey, Jean! I was able to get a spot for the same class. I am one happy gal! It would be great to meet you :) I had the same thinking when I kind of balked at the travel time and price - when am I ever going to get a chance to meet him? I don't think he is on the east coast much.

Medium? I use modge podge. I have tried glue & seal by ranger but I don't know that it's my favorite since I just started using it and am not sure about it's place in my craftroom.

OMG I just figured out I have joined too many swaps at a time. Lol. When I go to bed I start with Chunky Charms Swap then I go to Chunky Charms Partner Swap when I have gone thru those I go oh yea Paint Brush (I do have an extra month on that one) but I run thru now what did Candy say she wanted oh haven't really worked that out have to get with her ok got that done now I have to go over the the Painter Tray Swap I know what Jean wants but I have to do a really good job ( Jean & Kelley were my first partners when I started swaping). Ok about those Chunky Charms and I go thru the whole thing again after doing that 2 or 3 times sometimes I just say the he__ with it and I get up. Richard usually finds me sleeping at my craft table with something stuck to my face. Now the question: Am I the only one that does this???? LOL LOL LOL I love swapping wouldn't stop for anything.

I don't know how you ladies do it. I only have 4 swaps but I see some you under alot more (Melody ringing any bells? Lol). You guys are my HEROS!!! You all do such beautiful work.

Oh yea JCI.
