Last Week - Yes, Sympathy cards are not fun to make. I'm so sad for your friend, can't imagine going through something like that, my condolences to her. This beautiful card will be sure to comfort her and know that her friend is thinking of her. You did an awesome job!

BingoLady

Wow! Nice to see more cards and sorry I’ve been away for the past few days – work and company!

NancyJ – Great set of cards with your new dies! Love the black and white one – the mix of patterned papers work so well! Pretty “thinking of you” card!

Turtlebug – It wasn’t my sister that made cards…I have 2 sisters but there’s only me that is a crafter or with a creative side. Love your card for your DGS for Sketch #3! The red and black is very striking!

Donna – Love your card for your BIL – I’m sure he enjoyed it! Love, love your Sketch #1 card – love the mix of papers and another pretty butterfly!

Dragonfly – Aw cute Easter card! Were the dots of the kite already on the paper or did you do them by hand?

Sandy – That’s unfortunate that your cards were mailed before taking some photos! I’m sure they were gorgeous!

Britishgirl – What a great sympathy card! So sorry to hear of your friend’s loss!

BingoLady – Great sketch #1 – how did you make the loopy flourish? Great bday card for your son in the ad colours! Hope you had a great evening !

Glad you like it.BigGrin

I cut the clouds using the Cricut Craft Room Basics cartridge.
The clouds are cut at 1.0 and 1.25 in.

This is one of the cards I posted on my blog. (Th. 3/21 post)
There is a complete list of measurements and other info there if you need them.

I used the Cuttlebug Charles embosing folder.
It is a chevron/zig zag design folder.
I lined the kite up so the dots made a zig zag design where I wanted it.

Happy Sunday to you all,
I have been busy making Easter cards the last two days and was able to use this weeks sketches. Hopefully those "ladies" have left PB and I will be able to post from there so lets go see.

The first 3 cards use some toppers I bought last year, I also used papers from my scrap box.

The 2nd two cards use digi's from www.mypapercrafting.com also papers from stash.

Sue – it looks like the “ladies” have left PB and I’m happy for you! You have been busy this week! Great sketch #1 and 2 cards – love the different papers and how the twine is punched through the front. The two Easter bunny are adorable – love the soft colours of the first one. The same image can look different just with the shading that you’ve done! Great card for a teenage boy – love the gears, pocketwatch and tickets! Beautiful birthday card – it shimmers and glitters and those butterflies are gorgeous!

Have a great evening!

#2s
A) Like the old-fashioned Santa and frame cuts. What will you do come Christmas time and no holiday cards to make!?
(B) Nice B’day card, like the BG paper, HB'day stamp and matching polka dot ribbon.
#3 – Love this card, so manly! The BG is perfect for your DS’s chosen profession. Love the metal embellishments and you did a great job in layering the "fellow". I see some Chicken Wire embossing in thereThumpUp, too!!

NancyJ.
#2 - Love the colors, assorted printed papers and the way you did the ribbon. Very nice card!
#3 - I can tell you are really enjoying your new Cuttlebug and dies. The Spellbinder cut is so pretty and the center tag really pops against all the pink shades. Did you print the sentiment and then die cut it? It looks very nice.

AcrossThePond
Glad to know the unwanted “visitors” at PB have left.
Love the Easter cards…the first two are so pretty and serene. Like the way you did the twine through the holes, will have to scrap lift this idea, ok? The Bunny ones are so playful and cute. The coloring on them makes each one look so different from each other. All four are very nice, but my favorite is the second one, the image and the BG paper are so pretty.

B’day Cards
(A) Oh, oh....teenager in the house…look out!!Scared
Like all the details on here, great for your DS. He will like the "teenager" tag on it, showing he is an "official" teenager now!
(B) WOW!! Love the Butterflies and all the gold details. Like how the small size sentiment doesn’t overpower this beautiful card.

NancyJ,very pretty sketch 2 card! Great look with how you did the ribbon! Wow, you are really going to town with those Spellbinders! Another very pretty card! I just love the pink polka dot paper!

Gisele, that is one very impressive card for your son! It is way to cool looking! He will love it!

Sue, I just love the toppers you are using on your cards! Beautiful Easter cards! I am guessing the cross with the flowers on it is a topper too then?!?! I just love that little bunny digi from PCW! Fabulous job on that stamp card! Wow!!! Are the stamps toppers?!?! Love the gold accents on your butterfly card too! It really has such a wonderful affect on the whole card! So does those little gems!

Hi, I hope everyone had a great weekend, mine was pretty busy. Since my son is here from North Dakota I thought I would take advantage of that extra strong hand ThumpUp and have him help my hubby change my craft room around. We had a hide a bed in there that we took out and I will have a 6 foot by 24 inch work top with all my JetMax cubes under neath. So all the JetMax cubes are in position (for the most part) now I have to wait for the counter top to get painted. OMG gosh what mess my room wasOhMyGod ,(and still is a little) I made a small dent in it to where I could at least get in there and make my last card. BOY do I have a lot of organizing to do when everything gets in placeScared Unsure but I am sure I will love itWoot Wub .

Here is my sketch #2
Paper are from DCWV Summer stack it is all glitter paper and the yellow panel I sprayed with Glimmer Mist but it doesn't show up, oval is cut using a Spellbinder. Sentiment is a CTMH stamp.
Flower is cut from the Bloom cartridge.
Oh and it is in the ad colors and extra credit, I think it says Spring

Nancy J – Well done with the Sympathy card…always difficult to make! I wouldn’t have guessed that pink could be appropriate but you really pulled it off nicely with the dotted paper and flowers!

Donna – you’ve been working hard on re-organizing. You’ll have to share a photo of your new table when it’s finished. Great Spring extra credit and ad colour card! Great flower and perfect sentiment!

Britishgirl - sorry I don't know how to change your email

Sorry I don't have another card to share. I've managed to crochet another flower - it's a bit big but I can use it for layering. Have a great evening!

I wasn't able to work on any of the sketches this week, but everyone has done a great job with the cards and colors. I have my 90-year-old mother-in-law here for the week, so I'm not sure how much I'll be in the craft room.
