Hi everyone! I'm new to the Cricut, so I have a question. Hopefully someone will have an answer for me.

I purchased the Cricut to help with some wedding things. Currently I'm going to be making our escort cards with it. They are going to be snowflakes that will sit on the champagne glasses as guests arrive to the reception.

I found the perfect snowflake to use (large enough space to write names/table numbers) but I want to add a small "V" shaped cut to the top so that the snowflake can hang off the edge of the glass. Is it possible to edit the image that way?

Thanks in advance!

yes, but you would have to do it with either a gypsy or CCR by welding two or more images together. Are you using CCR or have a gypsy? If you haven't already, you can download the free ccr design software by clicking on craft room above. Once you have it downloaded and working, lay your snowflake on the virtual mat and find a shape from a cartridge that you own or use the free digital cart that is included with ccr. You could actually use probably an upside down alfa V. Position it like you want, flipped or upside down and move to where you want it connected to the snowflake until they touch and a box pops up asking "weld" or "not weld". Choose weld. CCR lets you do so much more than the machine alone. the gypsy is similar but I don't have one so I won't even try to go there. You can see and design with every cartridge made in ccr but you can only cut the images if you have/own the physical cartridge or purchased a digital vesion.

Hope this helps.

Thank you so much for your help! I have CCR, I don't know what Gypsy is, though I've seen people mention it before. Can't wait to try that out!!
