At one time I thought there was a way to suggest new cartridge ideas...
Anyone know if that still exists?

I have no idea if there is an official "wish list" somewhere on this site. And if there is, it's doubtful it would be read by anyone from PC.

But this is a great thread to start. So, I'll begin;

"I wish" there was a Crafts and Hobbies cart.
Quilting, fabric, paper crafts, painting, knitting, crochet, photography, beading, embroidery.

I know I could probably find pieces and parts of these scattered amongst several different carts, but I think it would be awesome all on one cart.

OK, I'll join in.

I would really like to see more Disney Carts: Lady & the Tramp, and Lion King.

I vote for Martial Arts....Tae Kwon Do in particular. I like the caft and hobby idea as well. How about classic cars and motorcycles for all our guy cards, and for the tomboys, like me, amongst us? I would also love a cart of just couples doing couple things...dancing, dinner, picnic, riding a motorcycle, more dancing, movie date, walking hand in hand, putting together a crib, saying "I do", making dinner, more dancing, etc. Those are my top 4 of a list of about 100 LOL LOL LOL ! GG

I would like to see a RODEO cartridge of all rodeo events with contestants doing them.... My son was in High School rodeo and was/is a bareback rider. I would love to see all of those rodeo events on a CARTRIDGE .... not in CCR.

Thank you,
Melissa

I would like more mature cartridges. Not so cutesy or cartoonish. Such as different professions as doctor, dentist, police etc. Even images as grandpa or grandma. More layered background scenes. Cars & motorcycles more detailed. My grandson is into star wars.BigGrin

Thanks for suggesting this theme.

I would also like to see more Craft Room Exclusives. I thought that was a great idea to have just a few images, and not just the single ones since I've heard you can't use them on the Gypsy. There are a few of the cities. I would love to see one for Chicago!

I second the rodeo one but please make it more realistic unlike the rodeo images on County Fair

Would also love to see a mechanic cartridge (cars, trucks, engines, tools, tool box, etc)

A realist farmer cartridge

A night out cartridge (drinks, beer bottle, beer can, bar, beer taps, bar/club dance type images, and phrases)

A more detailed Military cartridge (maybe with the branch emblems too)

I also like the idea of the background scenes.

oh and more adult geared holiday images on physical cartridges.

I would love for a college themed cartridge. It can include school images/phrases as well as night life images/phrases. Instead of a regular font, why not the greek alphabet? I am still trying to finsih my college scrapbook but I'm running out of ideas and embellishments. I hate using a lot of stickers to spice up my pages but even with that there is only so much out there related to college life.

I'm still reeling from the fact that I apparently don't know what a cart is. hmmmmmmmm. I have a friend who is about to do a nursery with dragons, and I'd love to make some dragonesque things for her, but I didn't find much--nothing I knew how to access--- that fit that bill. I know adults and kids alike who love their dragons!

Something inspired by artists, poets, photographers, and film
such as Picasso, Monet, Seurat, Shakespeare, Dali, VanGogh, Poe, Georges MeliesLove, Hitchcock
would be SOOOO cool!

Also vintage childrens Art from Literature(non Disney)
Alice in Wonderland, OZ, Seuss, Peter Pan, even Dick and Jane
more vintage santas and fairies or circus
more asian/oriental
Puerto Rico
OZ OZ OZ OZ

out on a limb wishes:
mid century architecture or designers Frank L W, Tiffany
vintage advertising posters
vintage fabrics Hawaiian, oriental, florals 50's 60s

even though I wouldn't use them personally COLLEGE LIFE> STAR WARS> LEGOS> VIDEO GAMES> MILITARY would sell like hot cakes.
I like the background scenes, Christmas TV, Chicago, and crafts ideas very much too!

PHYSICAL CARTRIDGES PLEASE!

I think I've put this on every thread like this over the past 4 years - here it is again:

Quote:

- Disneyland signs (regular Cart) – theme park names, “land” names, ride names, parade names

- Christmas TV specials (regular Cart) – Rudolph, Frosty the Snowman, Charlie Brown, Grinch, Santa Claus is coming to town

- Disney Classics 2,3,4.....

- Realistic Cats

- Walt Disney font

Color & Background imagine cartridges with:
- intricate geometric designs
- all designs of one color (an all blue cart, all green cart etc)
- Disneyland in color (imagine Cart) – colors and backgrounds from Disneyland
- Christmas TV in color (imagine Cart) – colors and backgrounds from Christmas TV shows

Well, I'm still rootin for the Crafts and hobbies cart,

but I second the motion for a background scenery cart. Think of the texture that would be possible with realistic nature images. And then some stamping and embellishments in the fore ground.

I also think that whatever new carts are on our wish list, we would like a touch of realism, and not the goofy, childish type of images that so many of the carts have. I can make my cards look goofy enough on my own, without using the Cricut.

Adoption.

I am working on my little girl's adoption album so with my luck they would come out with this after I finished it. Flapper I did use the Russia stuff on the Destinations cart and I love the Baby Steps and Sugar & Spice carts. I wasn't pregnant so the pregnancy carts like 9 months don't do me much good. It would be nice to have a cart with some nice adoption sayings on it.
