Here are my goodies from Evelyn:

The card enclosed was perfectly me. The paper dolls reflected my dd's boyfriend and her (although he has a beard and no mohawk any more), the spray is a new brand for me and I am anixious to try it soon, the cards are birthday and anniversary, there is a nice little card making set complete with box, 3D flowers.

Unforunately a couple items had problems with their way to me and I need to fix the embossed flowers as well as the photo cube, but this happens sometimes.

My daughter called dibbs on the paper dolls and the photo cube. I want to use the cards to making kit to make a set of cards to have or give as a little something.

Thank you Evelyn for a very nice box.

Evelyn, you did a real nice job on the cards following the tutorials.

Jen, you will love that Heidi Swapp spray. KelleyRooks told me to try them out, so I bought the teal one and absolutely love it. I bought another one too, bronze, I think, but haven't sprayed it yet.

And I'd probably hide that one set of flowers from COB as they look like they would be perfect to use on Halloween projects - appropriate colors for Halloween.

You did a good job your first partner swap, Evelyn!

Love Love Love Oh my goodness - Denise, what a phenomenal swap box!!!! THANK YOU so much!!! (of course no dibs - good luck getting it pried away from me) LOL

I took over 40 pictures of everything (I will post on my blog, link here, and include some of the photos here as well shortly).

After such a long winter here, the sunflower themed items brought a huge smile!!!! You are such a talented woman - wow is all I can say

One question - for the main card and tissue box - what line of paper is that? It is really cute? ok, not the right word for it but I like itBigGrin BigGrin

I will update this post once I get all my photos loaded

ps - I won't post all 40 pics - I am not that great at photography, so it tends to take me several shots to get a good one Flapper

Lucinda,

I am so glad you like everything. Like I said in the card I was so excited to create for you again. We were partnered on my very first swap (altered charger plate). The tissue box and the one card were fussy cut from kits I bought from craftsuprint.com.
I hope the perfect pearls were colors that you can use.

Thank you,Gwynne, for being a terrific swap hostess and making us think of new ways to be creative.

Wow! Great box of goodies. I love those sunflowers! Perfect paper and coloring. And the embellies on the tissue box too are wonderful.

You really did a super job with each directive DeniseE! Great use of the paperdoll directive too! You definitely did some thinking outside the box! And all your efforts show!

You have truly improved by leaps and bounds ever since starting to swap with us! That is a huge compliment to you! You have listened, you have researched and you have found ways to create very nice items that match your partner very well.

Enjoy it all Lucinda!

Well, we have one more box today, one tomorrow, one Wed. and one Friday if they all stay on schedule....and that leaves one more left to arrive probably not til the following week.

Poor DeniseK up in Alaska may be waiting a ridiculous amount of time as must be that's the PO's new brilliant ideas to post on the receipt that they can't guarantee timely delivery outside the 48 states due to lack of available transportation and have tacked on more than an additional week to the expected delivery date. Good grief...16 days in the mail system seems a little long but it is what it is and we will keep our fingers crossed that it actually travels faster to her!

COB - I'd say you received super nice, and useful, items from Jen! Can't wait for the tissue box to become unguarded so that we can see that too! (cute picture by the way)

The paperdolls turned out real cute for your situation!

Jen - what a lovely box of goodies. Those embossed flowers look really neat.

COB - Can't wait to see the issue box too. love those paper dolls - how perfect!

Denise - I was very happy with everything. The canvas has already made its way into my office at work. It definitely brightens things up! I don't have perfect pearls in those colors so they will be wonderful! Thanks again BigGrin

COB I am happy to hear you liked the items. No pink was used in this swap - lol. I tried not to make things too girly but like to include that purse in some of the swaps I do. I was nervous about the paper dolls - they were my first "official paper dolls". Looks like it was okay to do them reflecting your son and daughter and their respective military branches. I did keep the tissue box simple (not over embellished), keeping in mind the color/colors you mentioned for your mom. I hope the boxes that the mats and embossed verses made it okay - didn't want to crush things so I didn't wrap them in tissue.

Gwen since we were creating things from the past per say, I thought the flower pot cards would fit right in.

This is pretty weird. Course I pretty much only ship Priority flat rate but boxes from the in-laws in PA usually reach us pretty quickly.

Loving all the cards and thepaper dolls. I had a hard time with those guys!

well your box finally did update and passed thru Federal Way, WA...so I hope that means your box will get to you before end of week now. I just can't imagine it taking that much longer to get from WA to AK! lol

Time will tell.

I thought for sure there would be a delivery today, as it was slated for yesterday actually. But last I checked, no update to say it's "out for delivery"

Everything was perfect Jen and will be put to good use! The paper dolls and flower pot cards are my favorites. I'd love to know where you got the paper for the Army uniform though because all the camo prints I've found are too large for "doll clothes" and I'd love to use it on cards/projects!

The other box is still out for delivery.

the box slated for Friday has arrived to the correct state, so should definitely arrive by Friday.

Still no update on Denise's box past WA!

Patience is needed, I guess! lol

Very nice job Denise on everything for Terri.

Terri should have some fun filling up the mini with pics of grandson.

And I like how you altered the book box and the frame too.

I almost bought some of those girl stamps a week ago, but then did not. I really like that one!

Not sure why, but Evelyn's box went from out for delivery to at the PO waiting to be picked up. So must be the PO guy was not able to leave her box for her with other mail.

So she needs to go pick up that box! lol

I hope you like everything!!!! It was hard to really come up with stuff I thought was your style (other than the frame). The melted crayon art was fun and different. Love those prima paperdoll stamps, I went back and bought the other 5Laugh

My box of goodies arrived today from Amy L. Thank you very much Amy. If there are directions or tutorials online someplace for those cards, I would like the links, please.

I suggested to Amy to keep my grandkids in mind, for this swap...so that's what she did!

so glad the box arrived in 1 piece and that you liked everything I will see what I can do to dig up the links for the cards. if I remember right the red paper card is from split coast stampers its called an origami fold card I made that one a little less detailed than what she showed in the tutorial.
