I think you can use HP 97 & 98 in the Imagine if you run out of ink. I'm pretty sure I've seen that posted in the forums. I would confirm with CS, but I think they released that info when they announced it being discontinued. HTH!

I just replaced my inks with HP 97 & 98. I had to buy them from Best Buy and the bill was $77. Not cheap but I've had my Imagine since launch and this is the first time I had to replace ink. I don't use it often.

FYI you can use HP (Tri-color: 97, 134, 344 Black: 98, 129, 377 also hope that helps.
