Angry Hello to anyone who can offer some friendly advice. I am the owner of a gypsy, 2 Expressions, a create, 2 original bugs, the E2, cake mini, and big cake..and I have never had trouble with any of these products like I have when it comes to design studio, and ccr. I Love my bugs but this mini is giving me a royal headache!!!

Cricut mini was a lovely Christmas gift....until now. I have now installed and reinstalled ccr 3 times, and updated my firmware by prompt about 25 times in the last few days. I have this mini connected to my laptop and I just am about done with it. If anyone has had a similar situation please give me some much appreciated advice. Trying to work on a Valentines day project for my kiddos before it's actually Valentines day :)

Have you ever been able to get into CCR, as yet?

How much RAM do you have on your laptop, what internet browser are you using AND do you have DSL/Broadband or higher connectivity?

I was so frustrated too because I was told numerous times to Update Firmware. Then I discovered behind all my open windows, that there was a box that said I needed to restart my computer. Did that, and problem was solved!BigGrin

I am also struggling with error that drivers are not installed. Laptop, windows 7, tons of RAM, install from web site says successful, restart and still have issue, continues to require firmware update too and continue to install it then restart computer and not working...bummer.

Sounds like Adobe Air didn't install properly and is possibly blocking successful installation when you try again. Over in the CCR forum there is a link to Air Zapper that will remove all traces of Adobe Air. I would do that and then turn off you firewalls while you install CCR {you can turn them back on} and see if that helps.

I noticed that too. If you don't restart then a new box will pop up saying update your firmware.
