I've read through all the posts on this board and haven't found an answer to the question that I have. I read some non-CRICUT/Provo posts (reviews and media releases) and something about them, to me, sound like after the Beta version is over, that Craft Room will be for sale, and no longer free. Am I mistaken about this assumption ??

I have no idea, I had heard it was free and will remain free, HOWEVER, I would much rather buy the program knowing it will work when I want it to, not have any server issues, and also not have to be online to use it.

I have never heard that; but, I'm not usually in the loop, so to speak.

I hope not. I think they will have a lot of irate customers and I don't think they will go that route.

The FREE part may be something that will lead us to buy other products to work with CCR; over and above how we can use the FREE part today and when they get all the bugs out. I think they will sell their images online--I have heard that.

I hope they keep FREE what they have started with and will just ENHANCE CCR in other ways to make their money. It can only be to their advantage to keep us happy and I think that's how they will succeed in keeping us all happy. While they are here to make money, I do think they want to make most of us happy, too.

I heard it will be for free, and one will be able to purchase and download carts straight from the program.
