I just tried using Dazzles for the first time.. how do you get it off the backing in one piece?? I thought I was being careful. Mine tore. Can it be colored? If coloring it, do you do it before or after putting it on your paper?? Any other tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Hmmm, they came off easy for me....maybe if you bend the paper slightly and use a pointy thing (awl?) they might come up easier? As to coloring, I see there are pens on the market that will color them but never tried them.

I've used Dazzles a lot and never had trouble getting them off. Southgirl had a good tip, and you might even try your Cricut spatula to lift it off. You either have to have the special pens to color them or you can use alcohol inks. Be sure to color them before you put them on and make sure they are dry before using them.

You can also stick them on a scrap of vellum or colored paper and cut closely around the edge and then use another adhesive to attach them. Works great for things like roses and dragonflies. Color some white vellum with alcohol inks in random colors and use for the wings - it gives them an awesome look!

Hope that helps.

They are a type if sticker. You can use the positive and the negative part of them. (I don't really no how else to explain them)

paperwishes.com has Dazzles and Hobby Lobby have some very much like them that are not the Dazzles brand. They are metallic looking stickers.
