I used my Cricut Expression 3 days ago & it worked perfectly. When I went to cut something today, the blade doesn't seem to be lowering far enough to cut. The blade housing seems to move up & down and the machine goes through the process of cutting, but no cutting happens. I have tried adjusting the blade depth and the pressure wheel, but nothing has changed. I've also revmoved & reinstalled the blade housing to make sure it is in low enough & still no improvement. I read of a few other people having this same problem on other sites on the web, but there were no suggestions on how to fix it. Any ideas? This is just a bit frustrating & worrisome as I'm concerned that something is really wrong & my machine is broken.

I have tried a new blade, but no change. I find that if I put a bit of pressure on the blade housing, it does cut, so it just seems as if the blade isn't low enough. I haven't tried resetting it. Thanks for the link to show me how to do that. I will give it a try.

Make sure you have the screw in tight, also, to ensure good cuts. The housing may be loose; if it's a tiny bit loose, you won't get a good cut. Just a thought!! - Char

Thank you for your suggestions. I've tried several things & it still seems to just hover above the paper, not cutting at all. I have contacted Customer Service & they are replacing it for me. Hopefully the replacement last longer than this one did. Customer service over the phone has been very helpful. Just doesn't seem to be a way to correct whatever problem I am having with this machine.
