I went to switch a worn out blade on my E blade housing & when I tried to put a new blade in (NOT a deep cut blade either)it won't go in. I've tried a couple of other blades, including the last blade that was used & I can't get any to go in. Isn't there a magnet or something inside that might shift that I can maybe shift back into place?

If there's not a way to fix it, is there somewhere that carries them to purchase? My machine is only 18 months old, but past the warranty (of course it is Glare ) Luckily, I've been able to use the blade housing that was in my baby bug instead, but sometimes I need both machines going & I can't now.

Has anyone else had this happen?

That happened to me before and I was able to fix it by turning the number dial several times and gently tapping the housing on my desk. Some paper or something had gotten stuck and needed to be removed.
Good luck, hope this works for you as well.

Thanks!! I think it worked!! ThumpUp At least the blade went in. I could see there was something in there at one point, but it didn't come out, so I hope it doesn't cause problems later, but I know what to do now. I haven't tried cutting with it yet, so that will be the next thing....

I absolutely love your logo button. Can't wait to show it to my scrapbooking neighbor.

You can get new blade housing at Walmarts or any craft store that carries the Cricut products.
