What do the faces mean at the far left side of the forum listings? Some seem to be smiley faces, while others appear to be rather sad.

Pretty sure the green smiley faces mean there is a new reply since the last time you were on the board. Frowny faces mean no new replies.

Kraftykitchen is right. The light green smily face means there has been a post since you last logged on. Dull green with straight mouth (!) means no new posts.

If you go to the bottom of the forum page there are a bunch of smilies there and it tells you what they mean. I always wonder how there can be a gray face on the first page of the forum. I would think that it would be moved to the second page if no one has answered in a while, but that's just silly o'le me.

And.. if you hover your mouse cursor over the little face you see a little balloon telling you what it means.

Thanks to all of you. I guess you are never too old to learn, just slow sometimes.

Actually, it was a very good question. With new members signing onto the MB all the time, I'm sure that others have wondered about those smiley faces too!
