Do you use punches or just cut the shapes out with your cricut? If you use punches what are some of you favorite brands and shapes?
Thanks

I still use border punches because they are convenient. I really like Fiskars, but I also have a couple EK success (don't really care for those because they seem to be harder to punch to me) but the designs are nice and I also have a few Martha Stewart's (made by EK Success, but easier to punch). I have also used the Cricut to make borders as well.

I have both Fiskars & Martha Stewart border punches that I use. The only other ones I really use are my Marvy circle punches. I have every size (My favorate is the huge green one.) They are so quick & easy & Cricut cuts wobbly circles.

I was totally against having punches when I go my Cricut. I didn't see the need in having them. Well probably close to 100 punches later, I love them both! I tend to go with EK Success punches.

I use Martha Stewarts, friskers and some of the Mauvi punchs. I like the boarder punchs. I also use the dog "paw print" and things that are smaller than I care to piece together from the Cricut.

I use punches a lot ....It's so much easier than pulling out the cricut for just a small circle or a border for a card ....What I really use even more than the regular punches are my nestabalities ....Some of those label sets are perfect for so many different things .....
I work from home so I sit here during the lull periods (like now) and punch borders of all sizes and colors and store them until I need them ...

I Love the Stampin Up punches b/c they coordinate with the stamps. When I am making a card with a die cut shape made from my Cricut, I finish it off with a stamped sentiment and then punch it out with a coordinating punch or a nestabilities label die.

I have a lot of Stampin Up punches......different size circles, squares, ovals etc....love that they layer together nicely. I also love Martha Stewart border punches and punch around the page.

I have punches from before the cricut - and most of the ones I have the cricut can't cut that small anyway unless I resized it in design studio. But some of shapes I have (leaves, acorn) I don't have on carts I own. It's also faster and easier to pull out a punch than the cricut.

I still use some punches along with my Cricut, especially border punches, flowers. and butterflies. I LOVE my Nestabilities though!! They aren't quite as quick as a punch, but I loved the embossed edges.

I thought I wouldn't buy anymore punches after the expression, but I have. Unfortunately many recently with great sales going on. I like the new EK success large punches, the large scallop etc.. I have the MS borders and Marvy basic shapes, some embossing punches in different sizes to piece together for cards. Of course if I ever get the MS cake carts, I have all the border punches I want and will make them fit my cards on the gypsy.BigGrin

I use both, my Cricut and my punches. LOVE the Martha Stewart border punches and use the other brands mentioned above too. I use my shape punches on scraps of paper left over from when I use my Cricut.

I use both. I love my border punches though. Some of my favorites are:
Martha Stewart, EK success, Stampin Up.

I really don't want to buy punches since I have my Cricut but then, I was unable to resist some punches as they were on sale and I must admit that yes, it's a bit faster to grab a punch than to try and program one with my Gypsy or gather the cartridges I needed to make one circle or scallop...But I do have quite a bit of EK Success border punches and Martha's.
