So I teach Cricut classes at the LSS and at JA's and one of my students from the LSS (I've had her in my Cricut 101 and 201 for the baby bug and now 101 and 201 for the E) she brought in her gypsy and said "I got this and I don't know how to use it. Can I loan it to you for a couple of weeks you can play with it and then teach me how to use it??

I haven't gotten one because I truthfully haven't had the $$ for it and have DS on my laptop

So I'm really excited to be able to play with one for a few weeks...I'll be able to answer my students questions better about it too! (I am REALLLLLY trying not to get addicted...really really trying)

So questions...where to start...are there good video tutorials online?

Thanks

Betsy (who is still trying to get use to the new message board)

Betsy, I learned a lot about how to use my Gypsy from the Gypsy Chat on the old MB. Pam of the bugbytes has several tutorials on her blog about the gypsy and how to use it. Actually, many people have made tutorials, but hers are the ones that come to mind first. I don't know how to put in links, but here is the website address:
http://www.thebugbytes.com/ I sure hope this helps you.

Sheila at http://www.shesasassylady.blogspot.com/ also has several tutorials on making shape and window cards on her blog.

Also, Tuesday Treats found at http://www.tuesdaytreats.com/ is a blog that was started to help show people things that can be done with the gypsy. There are some great tutorials and projects on there that might give you some idea of what can be done and how on the gypsy.

Have fun playing with the gypsy. I love mine. If you fall in love with it, I hope you'll be able to afford one soon or that you'll be able to get one for a holiday gift.

I got mine at Micheals last week for half price. They also have it at Walmart.comfor $149. They ship it to the store of your choice. Just incase you have to have it. So far I really like it. There is a lot to learn and much mopre as they update it for theImagine.
