Okay, I've searched everywhere for this question and haven't found it. Can you use the gypsy with the design studio together, side by side, etc. An answer would be fabulous!!!Love

NO.

They both plus into the same port. It's an either/Or situation.

Nope - sorry. Exchanging files between the two is as far as it goes. Sad

Cool That's what I wondered. If you could plug the gypsy into the computer and then feed it onto the DS and then cut. It's been acouple months so I couldn't quit remember my dilemma. I have a scrapbooking weekend and I don't want to cart all of my cartridges, but I want to use my DS. After saving it onto my gypsy how do I get it on the DS. That is what I can't figure out. But if it's possible, I will keep trying. If it isn't, I don't want to waste my time. Thanks for your help!!!Cool

OK.. so you're taking a lap top?

Design in DS... transfer THAT to your Gypsy and cut from there. You won't be able to do it the other way around.

Ooohhh, so fancy! I can't wait to try it out. Thank you for answering me. I'm going Thursday 8am until Sunday 2pm and it's nice to get everything worked out ahead of time. I updated both my ds and gypsy yesterday and crossed my fingers (last time there were bugs) and it worked. I was thrilled and releived. I'm half packed, going through thousands of pictures (seriously feels like millions, and will finish tonight. Thanks again!!!!!Cool

So you can't transfer.cut to your gypsy even if you change the file name? I asked someplace else but no replies. I tried opening DS and saving a .cut file as .gypsy and it didn't work.
