I posted this on the Gypsy board but there is way more activity here so I am hoping one of you Gypsy experts can help me...

I am trying to make a shaped card so I need to use my G...but my ?? if I say make a 5 inch cupcake and then want the layers of the cupcake to cut size proportionate how do I know what size to cut them out?? I am deeply confused.BigGrin TIA

Heres my post on the Gypsy board in case I didnt explain myself right..BigGrin
OK I have a question and I hope I can explain myself easy enough..

I want to make a shaped card using my Gypsy.. so my ?? is do I have to cut the layers out not using the G only my E? So they match up properly? Like if I make a 5 inch shaped cupcake will my layered parts be 5inches or smaller??

TIA

you would still do yoru layers at 5 inches just like you would on the E...to show you how it works I would suggest putting your shaped card on your virtual mat, then opening a 2nd layer keeping the preview on(eye open)and placing your layers on top so you can see how this works...and then what I like to do is place all my layers on one mat in different corners of the mat and then placing all my papers on this mat so I can cut it all out at once

I too would use the layer feature! I love it and I can tweak it to make it a bit smaller or larger.
