EVERY database I ever worked on in companies I worked for had SORT options included....where you could SORT by name, state, start date, ending date, etc.!!! I'm usually very critical on these issues.....I did work in CS for a large portion of my 35-year working career. No, we weren't perfect....but, we darned well tried to be and in many instances, you can ward off FUTURE problems by being PROACTIVE!!

The problem is, they don't use the old program that has the bad dates in it that is affecting people. A lot of the old Circle membership stuff was done manually {which is why we often saw people post that they got two carts one quarter or other oddities}. And there is no way I would expect anyone to go through a list of 5000+ to see which ones might have bad dates. Especially when the only thing it affects is access to the Circle MB which isn't even one of the "perks" of being a member.

If and when it affects anyone, they just need to call PC {since PC now knows the problem exists} and the info will be given to the correct person to fix it.

Because mine was done w/ the help of a Cricut rep., I was reinstated instantly. Once you get your code, I'm thinking the same will happen for you. BigGrin

It happened instantly for me, becuz a Cricut rep was helping me thru the process. If I would've been able to do it myself, w/out any help, I'm thinking I would've been in line to get back in.

Actually, having access to the CIRCLE MB is definitely one of the PERKS of paying for the CIRCLE, whether you pay by CASH or by REWARDS POINTS. To many here, the MB is what they LOVE the most....in the CIRCLE. So, I do think having ACCESS to it is as/or more important than the other things that is an advantage of being a member.

You're right about the fact they should call, Scrapalette. And, you're also right about the fact PC wouldn't go through 5000+ names to catch those that might get cut off too early (the ability to use SORT in programs has been out for a long time, so I'm a little surprised PC goes with an even older format...but, I believe you. I'm just surprised).

PC is the ONLY one who can help users with problems associated with their website. They won't go by what others are telling them, per se (they might if it's coming from certain people....like you, Scrapalette, whom I'm sure they respect a great deal), here on the message boards.

Not that any of you thought they would listen to you merely by reporting on here you were having a problem; BUT, if any of you thought that, you need to make your own call to them.

It's not that PC programs don't use or have a SORT function. It's that they don't use the program that was initially used for the Circle membership info. That system is defunct. Their Admin system, which houses all the account info, shows the correct dates for everyone. It only affects those that still, somehow, have a connect with the old system and maybe that is through rewards since the old Circle membership info was in there as well.

And, once again, although members love the Circle MB and that might be the only reason they keep rejoining the Circle, it is not an advertised perk of the Circle and that's probably why it hasn't been include in any of the updated programs.

And the saga continues.....
I started today out calling CS...
After 27 minutes on hold I had to hang up. I was at work after all...
Then I called back on my break... 14 minutes on hold that time...
Then I called on my next break... you guessed it 15 minutes that time....
I tried to go on the live chat but my work computer kept getting that ole security certificate not up to date mumbo jumbo so it would not let me sign into Cricut.com.

I rushed home and sat on hold for 30 minutes then a real live person answered!!!
Of course since it was so late and they were going to close in 1/2 an hour all the tech people he needed to talk to were already gone for the day.
The sweet CS guy left a message for the powers that be and emailed them too.
Hopefully I will get back in the Circle tomorrow.

Like I said before I need to get there so I can check in on any blog hop participant updates.
The hop is Saturday so time is tick tocking away. lol.

While I had him on the line I asked him about my rewards points {or lack of} for my last 5 orders and he is going to go through them and fix them for me.

Whoo who.

It was an adventure... good thing we don't use that many of our cell phone minutes each month since this took a 100 minute chunk out of mine today...

Hope everyone gets their issues fixed soon.

I'm still waiting to get my Circle MB privileges back!!!!

Does anyone have CS Matt's email?
I wrote it down but can't find it.
I'm afraid I left it at work.
I won't be able to get it tomorrow since my school is closed for a snow day.

AND I don't feel like burning another 100 cell phone minutes waiting on hold trying to get through on the phone.

I had to purchase a new membership, using my Reward Points, to get back on the Circle board. I am suppose to receive some type of credit for having to do this, since my membership did not actually expire until mid April. We will see. GG
